my plans for a R15/P220 went down the drain when my dad crashed his honda shine. my dad his fine but the bike is screwed. now he wants a new bike. he does mostly city. around 60 is acceptable mileage for him. he wants the unicorn but it has a waiting period of 5months which he isnt ready to wait. dazzler is 2nd choice but i dont like the bike nor does he, he finds the bike too odd. the new yamaha SZ is ruled out cause sales is not open yet and everyone knows yamaha isnt a mileage machine. i told him about suzuki gs150r. comparing unicorn and gs150r.. what are the pros and cons? how are the bikes in relation to mileage? quality? maintenance? and service? you guys said something about spare unavailability and all.. why do you need spares? is the built quality poor? one more doubt, my dad is 55yrs old will he be able to handle these bikes? as in turning, balancing and stuff.. since he had rode only scooters and 100cc 125cc bikes before.. and these bikes are heavy. (he has no interest in gear-less bikes.)

also i reside in mogappair. there was suzuki showroom @ anna nagar but now its been closed down. any other nearby showroom? any ideas?

p.s. i think this is off topic i dont know but i want to know your opinion since you guys are my xbhp friends !

Tirupati and back!

Myself and Aargee just returned from Tirupati. We had good darshan and all our plans went without any issues. Short notice, diligent planning, well executed and returned safe.

Guess most of you know about scoyco products and its seller Bhavishya devgan.

he said that he planning to come to chennai with sample jackets so riders can get feel of it. But yeah he dint get the whole new lot yet. its in transit.

this is his facebook status update.

so once he in chennai we can arrange a small G2G meet and we can look the product. i also asked him to make it a weekend. so many can come for the meet.

You beat me to post Sri. Just a lovely & enjoyable ride it was. All the more I would take this as a call of God than ride of us!!! I personally realized God being there at every step to guide us, otherwise, we would have spent more than 90 minutes in queue.

Pls don't expect too many pics, except for a few night shots & some randoms; I was just experimenting on my cams.
