I'm in if we're meeting to ride in honour of ELD (though I didn't have the privilege to know him at all). So kindly suggest a meeting point and a destination.

Prathana is at Injambakkam. This is way before - can't miss it, since it's so large on the left side of the ECR at Neelankarai, before the Kapaleeswar Arch. If you need help getting there, call/sms me @ 9841070275.

Chennai XBhp went for a short ride to Mahabs - Tiger's Cave actually, with just 5 riders. Was surprised that we didn't have larger numbers, specially as this was touted as a memorial ride and only Ganesh who actually knew ELD showed up, to lead with 4 newbies in tow.

Nevertheless a pleasant Sunday morning spent with friendship, camaraderie, good cheer and a slow (kept pace with Senthil as his bike is running in) but scenic ride, followed by a late breakfast.

Pleasant sunday morning.

@Sunny : i have removed the extra padding in my seat, which i modified yesterday. After our return i suffered from pain, which made me to remove it immediately.

@all : the ride which we 5 had was pleasant. was blessed with good climate. we spent friendly hours early morning. sunny was sharing his experience on his early days of biking. our new friend senthil (owner for new black ninja) shared his experience with his existing HH Karizma and the new ninja. to sum up, it was a pleasant morning.

^^Good to know the weekend ride was good inspite of small numbers turned up.

Is the weekend trips/journey getting too much? At one point of time, there was overwhelming turnouts and these days I see the numbers are dwelling down. Nevertheless, the spirit of biking should keep moving forward.

4,5,6th September, my calendar is open and looking forward for a journey. Even if it is 3,2,1 day trip is also fine, but I'm addicted.

BTW, I was out of town for a long drive with family to KL for a week; since I turned up only by Sat evening, I wanted a good rest Sunday morning & hence couldn't make up for the trip.

Also my RX needs to undergo 1st service that I intend to do this weekend. So I might be off again for 4 & 5th Sep too.

Except for short meets, I'll not be able to ride for atleast a month due to huge CC bill on ladies
