^ Some US based office like the one I work is closed for Labor Day. So it is a long weekend. Though it is an option to work (swipe attendance), I'm going to take off.

Ensoy your long weekend; I guess my holiday is on Wednesday; if I'm able to get my RX serviced this Wednesday, I'll try joining on Saturday morning. BTW, how's your RX's run in period? Is it over?

^As you already know, it was not a complete rebuild. The machine has not munched much kilometers after.

Oh yeah! I got to figure out what's gone wrong with my Unicorn after Horsley Hills ride, had not spent enough time due to tight schedules till now. Planning to service it sometime soon for the weekend ride.

BTW, I was out of town for a long drive with family to KL for a week; since I turned up only by Sat evening, I wanted a good rest Sunday morning & hence couldn't make up for the trip.

Also my RX needs to undergo 1st service that I intend to do this weekend. So I might be off again for 4 & 5th Sep too.

Except for short meets, I'll not be able to ride for atleast a month due to huge CC bill on ladies

@Sunny : i have removed the extra padding in my seat, which i modified yesterday. After our return i suffered from pain, which made me to remove it immediately.

@all : the ride which we 5 had was pleasant. was blessed with good climate. we spent friendly hours early morning. sunny was sharing his experience on his early days of biking. our new friend senthil (owner for new black ninja) shared his experience with his existing HH Karizma and the new ninja. to sum up, it was a pleasant morning.

You are almost correct. Aargee's RX is brand new 2010 model which is not from showroom, but from his own garage. Believe it or not, he built his own machine from the scratch.

Hey guys,

Got back from the family vacation to Madikkeri-Mysore-B'lore yesterday evening. I must say the roads till namdroling are very good and tempting. Might do them sometime soon

The Rains were spoilsport though. I absolutely hate Madikkeri Now! Bad Food-equally bad room really spoiled our stay and we had to descend down to mysore.

I'm sorry I couldnt attend the ELD meet. I'll have to get my bike serviced before i can really take her out sometime. Probably upgrade the LID, those tyres and rewind the coil, maybe upgrade to projectors .. whoa! I've got to stop dreaming and get back to work, but I've really stopped caring :P

I'm held up on the 4th so cant make it guys. Enjoy your trip.

Lol; Raghav, Coorgi foods are best for non-veg lovers. Veg lovers will absolutely hate it. I remember spotting only one veg restaurant in Madikeri compared to atleast 4-5 of Veg/Non-Veg combos in the town.

Yes, agree that without proper I/O system will collapse, but I'm bad at time mamagement and end up spending more time outdoors than Indoors.

What's there to EEK on it? Just once in a while; I spend over 2.5K for a buffet lunch for 4 members & that was with 15% discount. Myself, cousins & Wifey couldn't forget that experience & we're glad to have visited OC in our trip to Coorg. Now, I'm wondering how to find an accomodation at OC for 4K per day.

PS - Min cost of accomodation at OC is 14K per day. Now this is for what I would say
