If you are plannin to stay,I beg you to look at home stay options. The hotels are crappy and the buggers have grown lazy not fix/maintain the rooms. walked into 6 Different hotels and the first thing you notice is the FOul smell of Moss/ALgae eating away anything organic! Finally found a good place at the cost of having to stay 3Kms from the town! No, there were no shops around, but the autodrivers were happy to ferry us across to the "town" for 40 bucks for 4 of us! I didnt wanna pop my bone by cramming myself into a ridiculously small auto with my family and decided to take a hike every time we headed out! Add another 12 Kms of Trekking and what do you get. Calf Muscle Cramps for 24 hours and the walking style of a DODO for the superseding 24. God, I felt like a Idiot walking like that In commercial street,B'lore with everyone staring at a good looking (Self procalimed), Smartly dressed chap with a strange walk !

But I did gain something from it! Smart assed, Ricky Gervais-ish, british Humour!

Lol; Raghav, Coorgi foods are best for non-veg lovers. Veg lovers will absolutely hate it. I remember spotting only one veg restaurant in Madikeri compared to atleast 4-5 of Veg/Non-Veg combos in the town.

Good question: This is what I found out about my bike. I went home at 530 AM, timed my mobile to wake me up at around 8 AM, thinking that the service center would open by 9 AM and it would give me ample to time to push my heavy unicorn all the way to H.A.S.S. What happened next? Woke up at 9:08 per my mobile, thinking gosh! what a mess???
Got ready real quick, mom looked at me slightly in horror as what am I doing.. took the bike key and just said 'I'll be back!'.

Oh man! pushing bike is something which everyone would like to avoid, however, doing that in half sleep is something I should word terrible.

It was all traffic and bright light piercing my eyes with loads of dust found a passage into my nostril.
Though it is just over a km to the service station from my house. It was very very good feeling when the brain is still in hibernation.

Reached around 9:43 AM, Thank God, not much of rush, was just the second person after Activa. The guy immediately recognised and diagonized the issue. He was unable to get the bike started. All he said was " Sir, we need to examine, might as well get back tomorrow on the problem".

Came back home hoping that there is nothing major issue with my bike, still there were lot of unanswered questions running in my brain. Consoled myself to have patience till I hear from them.

Around 3:13 PM there was a call from the service, which I was able to return only after I got up at 4 PM (what a tiring day).

The Service Manager/Supervisor then said that 'Sir, the coil is completely burnt', I was like . "And we do not have spare at the moment, have contacted Adyar center, they have only the latest model coil. We will get that tomorrow and again we hope it suits your model(2005). If that does not suit then you might have to procure from outside. We need to then ascertain if that was only the problem."

I'm writing this with mixed reaction of whether Unicorn will be available for this weekend or RX will do the turn!

Ok, then bring the RX; I'm servicing mine. Only the carbs needs to be serviced now; have cleaned the plugs, will clean the air filter, chain is adjusted, oil is drained already & simply has to be filled tomorrow & what else is left? Nothing.

So bring your RX & I'll bring mine, we'll go out somewhere. Post me your updates Sri.

Not really, I'm working 6 days this week (+1 for working tomorrow) & Ill be working 6 days next week.. so a comp off + weekend (2 days) + 2 days already worked = 5 day vacation. Plan your offs, struggle a bit & enjoy the vacation. I would say, anything for a ride

How can I connect all the above is the question. However, leaving the Unicorn(as pointed above), still can make up a plan.

I have a slightly cumbersome process of notifying my client and making some arrangement to tackle client's clarification during my absence. Wonder how do you manage to get leaves. Now tell me why shouldn't envy you?
