Bet you beer to dollar, getting a work done at RTO without something is a great achievement provided your known sources aren't working there.

dude my bike RC book showed Yamaha FZ16 and RED as its color. i changed it to FZ-S and SILVER as its color since your suppose to print the color which covers more than 60% of the bike. I got it all changed with no money no sources. i filled up a form and submitted and got the new RC the same day. this applies to my license too. Agents exist but i never tried them. besides these days only people with applications can go inside the RTO itself.

+1000000...; anyway, he's getting it done partially for now.

as long as he is changing less than 40% of his color.

Are you saying that saving about 4-5 hours every Sunday morning all way from Sep to Nov will make you flying colors in the exam?
                    4 hours X 8 Sundays = 32 Hours
                    Remaining 48 days X 24 hours = 1152 Hours

Good to see that you'll achieve something in 32 hours that you will not be able to achieve in 1152 hours!!!

Good Luck mate; your logic is already working!!!

hahaha.. you think i subscribe to that? I would love to go on a ride. I'm just saying i might sneak out now and then lol but with less than 2 months my parents will kick my ass. they keep saying you cant get up early to study but you go out early morning for rides lol you live alone or work or forgot your days with your parents?
that is a lot of quoted messages bro !!!

yes they sell the bikes @ a premium.. that is for the brand image not for the bike. the bike spares cost what a quality spare should cost.

okay.. another example.. the disk pads costs some 800bucks not 2.5k of HH
correction: the ENTIRE body panel of FZ costs 1.8k the ENTIRE body panel of HH costs 1.4+1.4+2.5 according to steve.
the dome of fz costs 2.4k while its around 2k for HH and the speedo console costs 2.4k and its 5k of HH. mudguard costed me 350rs while its 850 for HH.
obviously from this we can see the prices differ greatly. how much does your service or HH service costs? my free service costed me 350rs while paid service will cost me 600rs.
dude when you pay for something and it works well or lasts as long.. then its worth every penny you paid.
till date i dint have any mechanical failure in my bike. so am fine with paying what they ask.

so yamaha being costly is a myth !!

@All: Time for a trip during the month of October. I always like to do careful planning and giving some comfortable time for people to decide.

As most of us are working and some have family responsibilities. Considering all aspect and giving them broad time to think about doing a ride!

I would like invite some tour addict to come up with a plan.

Let's discuss : the during of the trip, travel destination, kms, stay, visiting places around.

This is what I can think of right now:

Hokenakkal (falls). It is around 350kms from Chennai and near Dharmapuri. I guess recent rains might have good inflow of water into that area. So we shall not be disappointed. We can stay at TTDC.

                              • Got my bike. Things changed.

                                1. Head - cylinder kit (bore piston)
                                2. timing chain
                                3. Valves
                                4. RR unit (for light brightness issues)
                                5. Gaskets

They charged 46 rupees for gaskets alone. they didnt change oil as they worked on head alone. Some of the spares were not available it seems and they procured from smk suzuki and fitted.

Bike is smooth but my gear shits are tight may be cause of 3k old petronas. planning to go to shell vsx as i need to run in again may today evening.

Root cause - Manufacturing defect and/or Harsh driving. (quite possible for harsh riding )
