Kolli Hills Ride : 3-4-5 December 2010

One more 3 day ride. Accommodation should be: Government Cottage, Kolli Malai.

Mandatory:

Pre-Ride for all new members joining in.

Riding Gear: Helmet / Gloves / Shoes / Knee Guard / RIDING JACKET - A MUST

We would discuss more about the trip this weekend.

Tentative Itenerary:

Day 1: Friday : Early Morning Start - Breakfast near Vellore - Lunch at Salem - Evening in Kolli Hills

Day 2: Saturday : Full day in Kolli Hills. Bravehearts to trek to the falls & give us pictures. Others rest at room.

Day 3: Sunday : Start after Sun Rise. Visit Hogenekal falls enroute. Home by late evening.

Nice to hear and i'm in, but the thing is my riding gear wardrobe is empty, if some one can help me in buying (possibly in chennai) and advising will do good.

I'm happy to sponsor b'fast anyday..... Nope, i won't won't be satisfied till i touch 170 Kmph.... That moment...i shall achieve complete inner peace & nirvana...

You can't buy any decent riding gear in Chennai except Helmets (LS2/Cross brands). In these aspects, Chennai sucks big time...

You have to get it from Bangalore(Cramster/Planetdsg) / Pune(Planetdsg) / Mumbai(Bachoo Motors,Performance Racing Store)

They usually ship in a day or two if they have ready stock.

I followed the method to get riding gloves:

1. Call Cramster, find out the availability
2. The bank account details are given in the website(cramster.in), transfer the money including the shipping charges.
3. Send email to them with screen shot of your payment made.
4. Expect the courier within 3 working days.

@sriram - Bro, I have never ordered anything (apparels) online so not sure if they do some basic checks for defects before they send it . Also the process in case stuff is damaged and need replacement . I would love to follow the same steps given by you in case stuff received is sure shot good condition

I bought my Cramster Knee pads thru Ebay. They shipped within 4 working days. They have their own store in Ebay.

You are correct, nothing like seeing the product and purchasing it. Contact Pratheep might help you.

I had no one visiting Bangalore when I wanted cramster gloves, so purchased via Online. The product which was couriered to me was good and had no complaints against them.

With the same trust, bought knee guards too. Rajesh helped me getting one. It was purchased via ebay.
