Hey guys,

got back after a extremely well deserved break in Coimbatore, Pollachi, Pallakad. Got back without a scratch. No nasty falls (except a few close calls), seeing a mini pileup has kinda shaken me up, but to sum it all up , awesome fun!

Wow , it was great fun to start the sunday seeing dozens of bikers leaving chennai (including us ) for good. 3 Ninjas, 1 Comet and 1 punny Avenger 200 (I really felt so). A decent breakfast , thanks to dileep and 65% solo ride , thanks to super fast bikes . Sorry , pics will follow soon. I was really delighted with all the Leg Piece jokes and amazing Hot ride (return) on ECR. Will be in my mind for some time for sure !!!

An awesome Sunday after a long time.

A great ride to Pondicherry for breakfast in the morning with 3 Ninjas, a Comet and an Avenger followed by an equally enjoyable ride back. 260kms round trip.

An interesting evening G2G with other friends from XBhp and even made a new friend from Bangalore XBhp - Aditya, who took time out to spend an evening with us. Thanks for the company, buddy!

So true Sunny Was an awesome evening. There are times when time flies by without even you knowing it. And there are times that even a second seems like an eternity. Reached home at 12 only to realize that it was that late..

Sunday morning ride to Pondy

It was a plan made in 3 days, thanks to Senthil's intitative that we were able to make this thing possible. It was 6 Riders for first 50 kms and then 5 riders all the way to pondy and back. I am putting some pitures here which I took on our way.

Started at : 6:55 AM from Chennai

Riders :

Nishant - Avenger 200 (Red)
Rajeev - Ninja (Green)
Sunny - Ninja (Black)
Senthil - Ninja (Black)
Ananth - Comet (Yellow)
Mr Ace - Discover 135 (Blue) - Returned back from boat house

I was waiting at ECR-Sholls Junction waiting for guys and having early morning Tea at 6.15 am.





We started approx by 6.55 am from Chennai and our first stop was view point.



There were some talk went and we saw dozens of bikes crossing us, all in ECR sunday fever.

We reached Pondy and was waiting for Senthil who stopped to get his Ninja's tank filled on the way. Few phone calls and some attention grabing








Old Guy in picture asked Ananth - "How much this bike cost?" - He said 70k. Next thing Old guy told was - "One can buy a Maruti Omini and take whole family for a ride, why to waste money in the bike ??? " . Ananth - " ". I am sure he would would not have belived if Ananth would have told the real price tag






Thanks to Dileep who took us to a breakfast venue - " Just Bread". A nice place to have english breakfast . Sunny Loved it to the core




Breakfast and talk went for an hour. Food was heavy and they don't accept Cards . Senthil paid the full money - after collecting from all

Started the return journey after a small talk at the parking lot (yeah, almost a parking lot)















Stopped at a boating house for a Butt Break. A motoGP talk and few smokes.

Day 1: Friday : Early Morning Start - Breakfast near Vellore - Lunch at Salem - Evening in Kolli Hills

Day 2: Saturday : Full day in Kolli Hills. Bravehearts to trek to the falls & give us pictures. Others rest at room.

Day 3: Sunday : Start after Sun Rise. Visit Hogenekal falls enroute. Home by late evening.

Hurrraaaaaaay! What a place to debut...I am in. Cant forget those wonderful hairpin bends and the scenary changing when we are nearing the plains just before the hills.
So now..apart from the helmet, I dont have any safety gears...any tips from where to buy in Chennai ?
