    Hi Helios,

Yes, you can join. I'll PM you my mobile number. I won't force you to push your bike beyond your comfort zone.
But, we will be giving the stick to our bikes.... If this is ok with you, then it's cool.

Can't forget almost touching Pondy and then turning back and riding almost 20 kms back to Boat house . I understood one thing that day. "If you want to ride WITH Ninja, ride ON Ninja. "

I would like to be accompanied by Tarc/rx135to135LS rather than catching the tail of some pocket rockets and i would also like to meet those guys only at the starting and ending points You guys giving the stick tou your bikes aint a problemo for me until that tempts me to push my tiny winy machine to its limits

I've been reading the last few posts with some amusement and also a little concern that the newbies and those unfamiliar with Senthil and the other 250 riders may get the feeling that we are conducting/encouraging road races on the highways.

                            WE ARE NOT.

Rash and unsafe riding is not encouraged or tolerated by any of us as individuals and definitely not as members of a forum that promotes safety and road sense.

I think that I should clarify that Senthil is simply letting his enthusiasm get away with him.

NONE of the 250's who normally ride together in this group are ripping up the roads - it feels that way to Senthil because he is only now getting to experience the potential of his bike - graduating from a Karizma, his excitement is understandable.

120kmph on a Ninja in 6th gear is normal cruising speed and not "giving it stick" but even then it will definitely be faster than anything else on the roads barring the SBK's. That's why Nishant found it difficult to keep up on his Avenger 220 on the Pondy trip.

That said, it would be less than human to expect even the most responsible Ninja rider to not occasionally wring his throttle and feel the sheer acceleration and power on offer when the roads and traffic conditions allow it.

Other riders who would like to join in, please do so, even if the group does get split up due to varying engine capacities. G2G's are not about conversations during the rides anyway but rather the camaraderie and our common passion for all things related to two wheels that is shared at the start and finish points.

                            Cheers!

+100, thanks for bringing this up Sunny. We all go up there to ride because its a passion we live on. In case, some one really want to test the speed and cornering, Race track is available. I feel Sunny has made things so very clear that there is no need for any more words.

                              Tragedy

But my day ended very badly, I just went to pick up my friend from Velachery Sutherland office(at 1.30 am) and before even I can reach there , our so skilled full Tata Indica has tought me a leason near pallikarnai. I skidded and fell down. My night riding jacket and gloves saved me and so did my jogger shoes. Helmet was usefull when i hit my head sideways on the road. A littles bruises at knees is all what i took from there. Bike Crash guard bended almost 45 degree and few scraches on silencer. But I am all okay now.

I just now got off the call with Nishant after reading his post. He sounded fine. Said he was saved from unthinkable situation since he was wearing all protective gears. Poor guy had to help himself, picking the bike checking himself as there was no one on the road.

He is right now heading for the north tour.
