I suggest second week of April - lets start the ride on Thursday and be back on Sunday evening. Discussion on destination can be continued once dates are finalized as leaves are applied and approved.

As nothing is planned. I am out of both days as planned something else with family. Enjoy !!!

It's sad to see that this offline group is dead and buried. There were times where we had rides every weekend for nearly 2 months in the past. There were seniors, juniors and newbies with full josh had a good time. Short rides, 2 days ride etc. As the time went by, saw some members due to their reasons limited their interaction and meets. At the same time we always had newbies coming in. We had good rides with them as well. I'm not trying to understand everybody got busy at the same or it is just lack of interest that we got almost zero responses for meets when called for. There were couple of times meet was planned early this year, however, due to poor turnouts, I stopped calling for meets. I'm not surprised today if there are not much activities happening. I'm able to see initiatives taken by members to organize meet/rides receive very poor response. This year 2013, has been very hectic and hardly spent time touring till date. However, hoping to do a comeback in May 2013 and shall try giving a shot to organize meet/ride one last time from my side and see the response from Chennai.


Reviving the group:-

Well, just remind you guys this year ISG2G (Inter-State G2G), its going to be in Tamil Nadu. We will throw the discussion in coming months though.

I expect the pre-rides or getting newbies inducted (if any) will commence from May/June.

It doesn't matter who organize the meet/ride, but least expect some response/communication even though you might not be able to make it atleast.


Volunteers:-

We need some reliable volunteers to fill in at appropriate time. Their interaction and guidance shall be vital for directing newbies to follow the safe riding principles.


Ride plans for 2013:-

I've been thinking of drafting a structured ride plan for the year, so that the group can make themselves available. However, we need to MEET first !

@Sriram I don't know about the others, but sadly I couldn't join you on any rides this year since I don't have a proper bike yet. I'll have to wait till 2014 to get it but once I do get one, I'll be able to join your rides.

Sadly true, it makes me jealous to see other cities doing so many rides and meets. Hope we get our josh back.
Funny, when I couldnt get holidays you guys used to ride ALOT!
I was so pissed at my boss, now when I can take off whenever I want nothing much is happening.
Anyway I'm available for any rides..
