Same bike as on the videos posted by Argee, except it had a new graphic vinyl wrap. The sound was incredible! The crowds would automatically run for cover as it started up and the exhaust would blow up a huge dust cloud. I will post some pics of the event shortly.Originally posted by psr View PostGood to know that you had been able to attend the IBW....Y2K in India ? I am surprised to know of some one owning it in India..? it is the fastest production bike in the world and is faster than a fighter Jet in Acceleration...were you able to hear it in running ?
Please do share your experience ,with Pictures ...of the IBW

Sorry to barge into the Chennai thread.....was an absolute pleasure to meet you Sunny! Do drop me a line if you plan to come down to Mumbai. I wish such events are held atleast once every quarterOriginally posted by Sunnyside_up! View PostJust got back from the IBW at Goa. Absolutely worth it. Got to meet so many old friends from the last 20 years from all corners of the country ! Also filled with personalities from the biking world, sights and sounds of the various bikes and groups who rode in from all over the country. From 100cc RX100s to the jet engined Y2K. Amazing! Seeing 600 odd Harley's riding into the venue together was also another experience. Should definitely do it next year if you missed it this year.
. Have been getting withdrawal symptoms since I returned from Goa
This one was brought down by carnet. I'm unsure if Gautam S. owns one though...Originally posted by dual disc 200 View PostPSR Ji, AFAIK one is owned by Gautam singhania of Park Avenue Group, i don't know if that's the same bike that showed up or a different one altogether...

Why upsize to 18? AFAIK, 130/18 tires are scarce if any. Stay stock, don't fiddle with the ergos of the bike. It was designed so for a reason and making changes would only cause harm.Originally posted by demonbiker View PostCan some one please help me find some outlets in Chennai to get alloy wheels. the rear wheel on my 200ns is damaged. and advice on changing from changing from 17 to 18 inch wheels. kindly help.
For better tires, you may go for 130/17 from FZ16.Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.

Sorry for the killjoy but, I happen to see a TN 09 Kawasaki 2012 Ninja 650R in Ooty a few weeks back. I happen to see this guy in Charring Cross in Ooty. Stopped by him, apparently an oldie 45-50s guy was about get in his pillion seat, of course with hands "FULL" of VSOP, Pipers etc etc from TASMAC and that fellow happen to be drunk too, the pillion.
The rider however was a young chap, apparently works for Royal Enfield, forgot his name though. Asked him whether he's in xBhp, he said? What Bhp? I told him to join xBhp if you get back to Chennai and there is a huge crowd for you to plan your weekend rides etc.
I hope there is another 650 in the gang, hopefully.
Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
The girl said, 'NO!'
And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.
THE END

No buddy, did you read my post correctly? The pillion was drunk, the rider was a young chap, with RE riding jacket and glove etc, he wasn't drunk. The pillion who came to sit, stopped by seeing me slowly dancing where he was standing, apparently a very very old guy say in his 60s something.Originally posted by SriramEfunds View Post^ Lol.. when they are drunk, you explained them about xbhp???

He was just staring boozy eyed as we both were speaking, and immediately jumped to the seat as we finished our convo. We shaked hands are parted away, but nope the rider was a young chap, donned with RE jacket etc, thought he might be in xBhp,so that's why I stopped by them in the first place, else I would just walked my way.
Cheers!
