Need help in buying used YAMAHA RX-100/135 in 2018 at Chennai

I need some suggestion in buying a used YAMAHA RX-100/135 in Chennai.

1. Is it worth buying now in 2018?
2.Can I buy the bike in OlX/Quikr, if not any place in Chennai, kindly advise.
3. What are the things I need to look before buying a used bike RX-100/135.
4. Will 2-stroke banned in Tamilnadu? If yes, when?
5.What's the best price in which I should buy the bike in good condition(Without needing any alteration or cash further)
6. If I buy the bike in scrap condition how much should I pay? and how much it will take to restore to mint condition? Please tell me any specific mechanic and mechanic shops for buying parts.
7. Any specific mechanics in Chennai for YAMAHA RX-100/135 in Chennai?

Help in Buying Yamaha RX 100/135

Hi Guys I'm a new member of XBHP and I'm from Chennai, Tamilnadu. I need help in buying a RX 100/135. I'm a fan of of these bikes from my school days but i didn't have the opportunity to own them.

I did ride a Yamaha RX 100 and it was a masterpiece. I also heard through my friend that 2 strokes are banned in city. So friends, I need few suggestions in buying a Yamaha RX 100/135 in 2018.

1. What's the best place to buy a Yamaha RX 100/135 in Chennai? Best price for Yamaha RX 100/135 in 2018?
2. If I buy the bike now and sell it in future will it be still valuable or less valuable?
2. Are the 2 strokes bikes are banned in Chennai city? Will it be in Future?
3. Can I buy the bike in OLX/Quikr?
4. What are the things that I should look for when I'm buying a second hand Yamaha RX 100/135?
5. Any Good and specialist mechanic especially for Yamaha RX 100/135 in Chennai?
6. Can I buy bike with rebore done or in original condition? Will it be okay if the bike exceeds 2nd and 3rd owner?
7. What is the best Yamaha RX 100/135 year bike that I should buy? And in which price should I buy?

Since I'm a new member of this thread I want you guys to help me out. There is a Yamaha RX135 with 4 owners and engine reboring done and owner quotes it 38k, should i go for it. But the bike has a good outer appearance? Let me know..Thanks for answering..

Sorry to say. It's not worth buying 2stroke in 2018 unless you want to buy one at any cost.

With less or no knowledge, I would suggest not to take a dive. You'll be taken for a ride.

It wasn't actually as peppy as I expected it to be. Quite understated and linear power delivery. I would even go the extent of calling it lazy. The gear lever badly needs a heel shifter too as my boot got stuck twice when upshifting.

Chennai to Wayanad

Hi,

Anyone who is willing to ride from Chennai to wayanad tomorrow Jan 18th.? I know this is of very impossible short notice. But since i want someone to accompany my ride i am requesting here. My two friends who were to come with me are not sure if they can make it. And my parents won't allow me for solo ride.

You can ask that I can cancel or change to later date. But the problem is i had took leave in office and i am so fixed on going. So if anyone wish to go for ride are welcome.

Stay is at my home at wayanad so no charge. Only travelling expenses.
