Hey maybe i'll join till Kanva have to be back at bangalore earlier.

I'm thinking of riding to CCD Mandya. Before we head there we can pit-stop at Kanva dam. Although i have ridden on mysore road plenty of times, i've never been to Kanva.

We can plan to leave at 5.30am sharp. We should be back by noon or latest by 1.30pm.

As of now Tibby & gd76 have confirmed for this ride. Let me know if you are in.



Still not decided if we are gonna ride on sat or sunday. Yercaud is out for me at the moment.



You serious about an overnight stay mate? Cant do any overnighters right now, for at least another week or so.

Wanna join us to Mandya CCD? Been long time and it was our first ride together huh?

How about going some place else ? Why not ride towards Hyderabad ? Just a suggestion, since we have not ridden that side.

I have to be there at 2 man.. which is at race course road. cant go there in biking gear Also there is the AS photo thing

The roads are fantastic on this stretch but it gets boring after a while. There is a Kamat enroute but after that nothing for miles together. Plus on the way back we have to maintain 60kmph on the BIAL stretch.

I just checked the weather forecast and its gonna rain today evening (6-12mm of rain predicted) and it might rain tomorrow morning as well.

So lets go with the plan for tomorrow. If it rains and the roads are too slick to ride we can postpone to Sunday.

Date - Oct 2nd 2010

Meeting time and place - 5.15 am in front of Wipro Madivala (next to madivala police station ; near total mall, madivala). Please be on time. We will leave at 5.30 am sharp.

Mandatory requirements - Protective riding gear such as helmets and jackets, vehicle documents, Drivers license, etc.

I will call Ark (Reggie) and hifisharu and check if they are coming along too.

Dont stretch yourself bro. Its not safe to ride without rest and sleep. Try and get at least 3-4 hrs of sleep before the ride.

Agreed! I caught myself napping (several times) on the 2009 Independence Day ride, while riding through the Kanakpura countryside.
I hadn't slept before the ride, fearing I wouldn't wake up in time for it
