Here you go - the Chamundi hills ride! I was the sweeper and usually ride very, very safe on curves!

Finally!! Fantastic video there. Love the quality. I hope you have some more videos for us.

I so much want to pick the GoPro camera. But thats after I have picked up some riding gear (& have money left).

We are planning for the 31st Oct and 1st nov weekend.
Planning to leave on 30th night after our class so that by mid-night or early morning 31st we are there in Coorg and we'll start on our way back on 1st morning visiting Bylakuppe monastry, Elephant camp and other places on the way back.

They have 4 rooms which can accommodate 2 adults in each room. Charges are 3k per room per night inclusive of all meals. Its better we reach early in the morning. This is not a hotel but a home-stay so reaching at midnight is only going to trouble the owners which i wouldnt want to do.

we will need to make bookings in advance for the homestay. let me know when everything falls into place and i'll make the booking.

Its better to leave early in the morning like 4am or so. The homestay is in Gonikoppal and the roads through the forest is not great. Moreover we cant enter the forest area at night.

Well why i said early was due to the fact that as we reach late the charm of going to Tal-Cauvery would be gone. Best is to reach there by 7-8 enjoying the foggy hills and the mist and by the time sun is up on the head we can head back and retreat to the rooms.

Pradeep is yet to send me his set of pics. Spoke to him and he will be sending them today evening. Hopefully i have them by the time i'm home so i can type out the report today itself.

P.S. Anyone game for another ride+overnight stay this weekend ?
