I am riding my TN registered bike from last 1 year without any issues.Do not break laws and noone will question you. Keep your original papers with you but if anyone checks, handover only the photocopies.
Here the cops check mostly the insurance papers, keep'em updated!!!

^^ Just FYI. I ride a TN registered bike in KA for the last 3 years! No road tax paid, No NOC! Not asking you to do the same, but it my choice to not pay for the our govt's laziness to not implement a unified taxation structure!

Same here. But very less time. Thought of paying it when I sell the bike. Not sure if that will happen in the near future though.

is it REALLY necessary to take noc when goin to another state? my friends one from U.P and another from delhi roams around freely without doing any such thing. even praful:P.

By going to another state, if its just touring, then no issues at all. Just ride and return. But if you plan to stay for more than a year then road tax is a must.

Neo last ride I was the 2nd rider to reach the meeting point on time after the organizer. So I thought I would give some relaxation to myself this time. I'll try to make to the meeting point, Only few times i have won the battle against my sleep .
