      • a little from my heart

Ride Safe guys ........ i had a fall on my way back from nandi hills ... and without enough safety.. fall kills .. it looks so nice and heart pumping to get the feel of fresh air for many ..... but unlike all . bikes move our souls and its always not safe ! without good riding gears.... i am thankful to all the guys from last ooty trip .... helped me get a decent good helmet a week before... which saved my head for sure though had some serious bruses and scratches and swelling and am taking 3 days off from office ! next time i wont be riding without gears for sure ... sometimes lessons are learnt the hard way (thank god it was not late enough ) thanks to all who were part of nandi hill ride and my friend Ganesh(not in xbhp) who came all the way to take me back home.......

This is a serious appeal Ride Safe and enjoy the joy of biking ....

        take care

The pleasure is when your rear wheel slides, and you bring it back; and when the front wheel lifts, you take your time bringing it back.

Plan is to leave on 30th Oct (Saturday). We should leave as early as possible (4am is what i am thinking of) so we reach Coorg before noon.

We can stay overnight at the homestay which i have in mind and return the next day (Oct 31st; Sunday) leisurely.

The homestay charges 3k per couple (1.5k per person) all inclusive of meals, breakfast etc.

To book the homestay i need confirmations. As of now the confirmed members are:

            1. Harshit.d

            2. microsoft guy

            3. n_aditya

Tentative as per my conversations are :

            1. Alok

            2. Ark (Reggie)

Please let me know if these dates are OK. I need to book the rooms which means i will need the advance for the room tariff.

The place of stay is Gonikoppal (35 kms from Madikeri). Lush green paddy fields surround the homestay and its very peaceful and quiet. I had been here a month back and absolutely loved it.

Anymore people want to join us please confirm at the earliest. There are only 4 rooms available which can house max 3 people in each room.
            Dude,
add me to the tentative list

Bang your head, while standing opposite/close to a wall, speed @2-3kmph? Hurts?
Increase your speed & watch the fun, when someone falls from a Motorcycle, unfortunately he can't choose which way to fall best & hurt himself less.

                    • GD - would have loved to ride with you this time around but we'll ride again man. To be honest, I'm dead bored of riding short distances and the only motivation to get on the bike now is a long ride sprinkled with an overnight stay and some sightseeing.

Since we are planning this over a long weekend, its better we make reservations/booking latest by this Saturday so we don't run the risk of unavailability of rooms.

Please note that there are only 4 rooms which can accommodate 2 adults (one more probably can be accommodated on request in each room in addition to the two).

Kindly confirm by Friday 22nd Oct, so I can make the booking by Saturday. I shall sms my account no. to those who confirm so they can transfer funds for the room expenses.

                      Thanks all.

Though I'm ready to ride, I'm still getting the bike repaired and hope to ride soon

I totally concur with Pradeep and I'm still on the lookout for the right set of knee protectors and not the Scamster kind :P

Didn't wanna miss a ride with the One, but I'm sure more opportunities will present themselves in the near future

                          Ride Safe guys!!!
