Dude. You are SO protective. Riding it for a day near the beach will not cause the bike to rust and fall apart! I have spent weeks on my easy to rust Enfield and nothing has happened. Let go...

Chimaglur has nice home stays too. Coffee estates and stuff. We can also do jog falls while we're there. Or we can go to Karwar, another fabulous beach area!

Karwar sounds good. Awesome sea food and pristine beaches.

Chickmanglur sounds doable in a week or two. Do let us know your schedule/availability. I'm not in town this weekend though.

Was anybody doing a coastal ride the last week????? Saw a pulsar on agumbe thirthalli road, an apache and R15(Somewhere near manipal or udupi,not sure). Waved at them ,but probably didnt notice

It was a suggestion! Don't think I can make it till next year - am off on business travel for two weeks at a stretch end of this month.
