Yeah the blade looked very old but it still had a lot of juice left in it. When we turned back, the monster overtook me at probably 160 something and i was doing 120ish. The blade blew past me and i guess he was clocking around 200k's.

Thats all the pics we have. I dont have my camera with me so snapped the monster on my phone.

On a serious note, it happens often. There are morons everywhere. I've had morons on platina's and pulsar's ride their bikes like they've taken a death wish. Riding a fast bike needs a lot of concentration and very good anticipatory skills to stay safe.

Well on a serious note my apologies to all and especially to Vibhor. I know off late i've been ditching a lot.

This was supposed to be my last ride for this month coz now i'll be off the ride calendar coz of my exams next month.

After that at least one ride with the entire group and following which i may move back to Delhi!! Nothing confirmed yet but it might happen so lets see..

Harshit actually joined us for a very short ride yesterday. Looks like the kaam wali was occupied and he slipped out un-noticed.

When is the Ooty trip planned? I may not be able to make it this time. My sister is visiting from the US in June so i'll be taking a short family vacation then. Let me know the dates and i will confirm.

Of course, whether i am coming or not, i'll help you with the accommodation and other things as much as possible.

Try DD hills guys if you ve not done it before. Good roads throughout. Be there by sunrise and you can have awesome awesome views there with the mist n all. Did it last weekend. Not getting time to put up the pics cos got to go to some internet cafe to do it and at work picasa and pen drives are blocked!!

We could also do a Mysore road McD run. However, I guess the traffic density would be high on the weekends. Thus making it a tad dangerous to ride on.

There is a Barista and a CCD on the tumkur road. I noticed the Barista but missed the CCD..

Guys, if you're planning to do DD hills, (Specially Aditya and Sachin with the Ninjas) take your Bike covers with you or else you might have "Monkey marks" all over your bike !! I had been there last month and the monkeys love to see themselves on RVMs ! But the roads through the forest and the scenic beauty from the top is something everyone would love !!

The reservoir you see in the pics are of Goravanahalli Dam, some 25 kms from DD hills. The deers are at Namada Chilume on the way to DD Hills

Guys, which is better? Daijya helmets ya Nuvo? Now there is a sale at PlanetDSG helmets right? Daijya for around 4k+ and Nuvo for 5k+. I am at present having a cross helmet.


This Matt Black finish is kinda coming off, even though I have never dropped it and I always wipe with a wet cloth after every ride. I only used this helmet for touring/group ride purpose. The good thing about Cross helmets it the Visor Position, it stays in that position, no matter what speed and the visor does not get loose at it's joints.
Now I am thinking of keeping this Cross Helmet for everyday use and upgrade to an LS2/(discount Daijya)/(discount Nuvo).
How long will an LS2 last? How about Daijya?
@Saurab, how long ago did you buy that LS2 helmet you lent me for my test ride?
