Hey guys...Amod here...I've just moved to B'lore...finally found this thread...(not sure if there's another B'lore G2G thread)...Wanted to know if this is thread where ya'll discuss g2g's...if there's another, pls guide me. Looking fwd to riding with the B'lore junta...

Small intro: I'm from Mbai and staying right now@Indira ngr (80 ft road). I own a classic Pulsarn 180 and Ninja 250R...

One more query, if I may ...Wanted to know of a good mechanic in the Indira ngr vicinity...my pulsar needs a lot of work. Is the Khiviraj ss worth giving it to (afraid they might overcharge, pile on extra work, as typically company SS do)...need your help on deciding...Thank you.

Welcome to blore. This is the thread for the Blore G2G's but not much of a positive response here on the rides so we now have our own small group which rides every weekend. We keep in touch via FB / sms / phone calls.

The Khivraj people on 100 ft road indranagar are good. They are also the authorized service center for ninja's.

Local mechs will only take you for a ride. And you can never be sure if they are using spurious parts or not.

Instead I'd advise you to take it down the AutoService in Banashankari. They are far far better than Khivraj in all respects.

I would recommend auto service again. The place is way better, and you can get all of your issues resolved. Guaranteed.

Aditya mentioned something on FB...even a common mobile tread n stuff...itchin to ride...

There are too many "riders" man! Which one? Link will be much appreciated And yeah, about riding gear, I hope a helmet, riding jacket, gloves and pair of shoes will suffice! Because that's what I wear when I'm on a ride

Khivraj is good as in terms of spares, or repair damages to the bike compared to auto service. Khivraj PBK service engineers go more by book to solve a problem, whereas in case of auto service is more practical in approach.

run-in na... so prefer single (more wont hurt) lane twisties, little bit of scenary preferred too....
