Good start but wrong thread ... post it in Leh 2012 thread .. in that thread lot of ppl visiting who are planning for it .. and in this thread u find very few .. so send PM to mods to move this to appropriate thread or spare mods ..delete this post and repost in Leh thread

Where can i get a T spanner around Jayanagar 3rd block??
I inquired at hardware stores but they do not have it!
I asked a local mechanic about the source of his T-spanner but he said that he had it custom manufactured!
I'm in need of this tool as the quality of the stock spanner is pathetic and the interior surface got erased after i tried to open a few tight bolts!

How much would this cost?!

Okay, will put up a thread in a day or two. Expected dates should be sometime in mid-decemeber I guess. But it all depends on the folks coming for the ride!

Praful, 2 days are over and don't see any thread. Mid Dec should be good as many would go into year end vacation mode towards end of Dec.

You will get a T spanner at automobile (bike spares shop) and not hardware. Would be around Rs.60 onwards

Any auto spares shop would have it. I think I paid about INR 70 for the one I had picked from JC Road about a year ago.

Yeah it is Ram
BTW the new R15 is brilliant to ride, huge improvement in the low & mid range(upto 5000rpm)

Although the saddle comfort is bad and the high tail requires more effort to get ON/OFF the bike
Its my friend's leathers, wanted to get a feel of single-piece suits before I buy one

OT - Single suit makes sense if you frequent the track often. 2 piece with a connecting zipper makes practical sense and can be used for tracks as well.

Jayant, Having seen instances of the connecting zipper of the 2 piece(A-stars & Dainese) come off during a slide or fall on the track as well as while touring, I have decided on a 1-piece(irrespective of their impracticality and discomfort)
