Good start but wrong thread ... post it in Leh 2012 thread .. in that thread lot of ppl visiting who are planning for it .. and in this thread u find very few .. so send PM to mods to move this to appropriate thread or spare mods ..delete this post and repost in Leh threadOriginally posted by icemangHello ladies and gentlemen,
I am now at the stage where I would be calling up my friends on the Srinagar-Leh-Manali route to try for some accommodation for the Leh 2012 trip in Army messes en-route. No promises, one can only try...
Could interested members give some confirmation about their intentions please? You could PM me with your real name and mobile number so that I can add your details to my database. Please rest assured; your details would remain confidential, I just need them so that I can call each of you and establish the network and relationship which would be so essential on the road.
The link is the Leh 2012 Planner in the Tourer section.
Regards,
Maneesh

Where can i get a T spanner around Jayanagar 3rd block??
I inquired at hardware stores but they do not have it!
I asked a local mechanic about the source of his T-spanner but he said that he had it custom manufactured!
I'm in need of this tool as the quality of the stock spanner is pathetic and the interior surface got erased after i tried to open a few tight bolts!

How much would this cost?!Grocery shopping:2010 Honda Dio.
Grocery shopping, in style:2012 Yamaha YZF R-15 Version 2.0

Praful, 2 days are over and don't see any thread. Mid Dec should be good as many would go into year end vacation mode towards end of Dec.Originally posted by Praful View PostPhew! So there is a little bit of Bangalore that is alive ..!!

Okay, will put up a thread in a day or two. Expected dates should be sometime in mid-decemeber I guess. But it all depends on the folks coming for the ride!IBA 47577

You will get a T spanner at automobile (bike spares shop) and not hardware. Would be around Rs.60 onwardsOriginally posted by Vishwas Bharadwaj View PostWhere can i get a T spanner around Jayanagar 3rd block??

btw, picked up Taichi race leathers huh? Looking nice.
Any auto spares shop would have it. I think I paid about INR 70 for the one I had picked from JC Road about a year ago.Originally posted by Vishwas Bharadwaj View PostWhere can i get a T spanner around Jayanagar 3rd block??

My views on the YZF-R15 V2.0: http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/news/198...tml#post699240
The pleasure is when your rear wheel slides, and you bring it back; and when the front wheel lifts, you take your time bringing it back.

Hi Guys,
Need some help. Has anybody been to Anshi National Park? We are planning to ride to park 18th Nov from Pune. Need to know if anybody has any contact details for the Nature Camp. We are planning to spend 2 nights at the park before leaving on 19th. Also any suggestion would be really helpful.

Yeah it is RamOriginally posted by tibby View PostIs that Ram along with you? & I love that new red+white R15. If only I had waited for 2.5 years

BTW the new R15 is brilliant to ride, huge improvement in the low & mid range(upto 5000rpm)
Although the saddle comfort is bad and the high tail requires more effort to get ON/OFF the bike
Its my friend's leathers, wanted to get a feel of single-piece suits before I buy one

OT - Single suit makes sense if you frequent the track often. 2 piece with a connecting zipper makes practical sense and can be used for tracks as well.Originally posted by strider View PostIts my friend's leathers, wanted to get a feel of single-piece suits before I buy one
Opinions are like assholes, everybody's got one. And most of them are full of shit.

Jayant, Having seen instances of the connecting zipper of the 2 piece(A-stars & Dainese) come off during a slide or fall on the track as well as while touring, I have decided on a 1-piece(irrespective of their impracticality and discomfort)Originally posted by jvh View PostOT - Single suit makes sense if you frequent the track often. 2 piece with a connecting zipper makes practical sense and can be used for tracks as well.Hammer the racetrack.
