hello riders... i am hari basically from kerala and was working in pune for sometime.. now i got transfered and is coming to banglore next week..i just need to clarify some doubts before coming, like how is banglore police with other state bikers?? heard traffic and cops are hard there .. and i am currently having kL registration a180 and an noc to ride in mh.. so if i were to take noc to banglore should i cancel the first one or just go for 2nd one ???

Police is same mostly everywhere bro. But I find the cops here to be slightly better thanks to an active participation in FB. You can raise harassment and stuff there. Because of that, they are better is what I feel.

Hello Guys, i am going to bangalore to buy the motorcycle gear....i was planning to go to pune but then cancelling and going to bangalore...i want DSG triton and would like to know places in bangalore where i can get this jacket (original)...also, i am going to purchase the gloves, i am looking for gloves that can be worn for the leh trip, any ideas which is the best.....also other gears like a tank and saddle bag; tank back i am looking for somethign that can be convered as a normal bag also, i've heard rynox is a good company....need your help in finding authentic place in bangalore and i would be visiting banglore next week..so need the information urgently....thnak you...

Here is whatever I'm aware of.

1. DSG dealers

Helmet paradise, near Urvashi theater, Lalbagh Road.
Triton Motors, Near Forum Mall, Koramangala. (Triton also has some gloves collection)

2. Saddlebags

I have Cramsters and they seem good to me. Not sure about other brands though.

Cramster outlet, Westminister building, Cunningham road.

Helmet Paradise and Orion are the only two DSG authorized outlets. Personally I would suggest Helmet Paradise for the interest they show towards the customer. Prices would be the same at both the places.

Thought of buying a Sparx Helmet as well .

I have confirmation from Orion Motors that they have it.
If someone can share reviews about the store, i need to know is it overpriced or if i can get a good deal at any other store in Bangalore.

P.S It is not available in Pune and neither with Performance Racing guys.

Orion is pretty good, prices are pretty standard - Have come across some stories from a friend who had purchased an original A* Jacket which turned out to be not-so-original. Not quite sure to what extent this is true. I've made several purchases with Orion and have no complaints and they offer decent service.

Have you checked for availability with Helmet Paradise (080-41496841)? They usually have a nice collection of helmets too (Might be stocking Sparx) and a wide range of other goodies too if you're interested. Good customer service.

Akshat, ORION is YAMAHA showroom.The prices are pretty standard.No issues with quality and all. But if you want a cheaper deal head to JC road. Thats like the mecca of automobile related shitz.

guys its been 2 weeks with my A180 in bangalore and its been good here.. learned that ride nice and clean,obey rules, then you will not get any problems from cops... true so far for me

just need to know some things for startup now..

) G2G and ride system here..

) good apache service centre near kundalahalli/marthahalli .. and any good mechanics to solve any bike probs near these places.

) shopping (biker's) spot in B'glore (mods mostly, angel lights,neon light,ffe,etc..).

) review on moderntech ffe and where i can get one
