Would appreciate if anyone could tell me where to get the plugs from.

        Thanks.
Since u stay near Yeshwantpur, u can first try the shop thats on triven road(if u are going from yeshwantpur towards Ramiah Bus stop, it comes towards your left , theres a helmet shop adjascent to it which is run by the same owner) and also some shops in Rajajinagar where i remember few of my friends picking up the Iridium plugs. otherwise the contact given by praful is the best one .

P.S: many shop owners dont know the difference between platinum and iridium plug, indicate the price difference, they will immedietly give the confirmation

Yamaha Riders Club guys are riding to Kanva Reservoir on 8July2012 at 0700 hrs from Land Rover showroom in Hosur road close to Silk board. This group is growing with R15 v2.0 riders although we expected Yamaha riders from all genres to join us.

              • Hello everyone!

Guys, I'm a new entrant to the Bangalore Chapter of XBHP.
I was in Chennai earlier and last week I got transferred here.

Hope to meet a few of you soon and please put up a small ride plan whilst I get my PUC tests done from some petrol bunks.

                Ride safe!
                Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.

If you have a TN registered bike, better get the PUC done in TN. Will help at times when cops *might* catch you for a TN number.

I've a 5 month old TN PUC as well, but its about to expire. Hence, I got one made here as well.
But I read in some thread that you need to get the PUC from the new state/territory you're going to. I guess it was a Mumbai incident when a KA registered bike was asked to show MH PUC!

The purpose of having a TN PUC for the TN registered bike is to tell cops that you are using the bike in KA only for so many months and not in KA permanently. Else they will ask you NOC, KA road tax etc.

                      • 2012 Independence Day Ride + Celebrations

The Independence Day aka ID ride has been a regular even since the Bangalore chapter of xBhp started under the guidance of Sunil Sir (hisunil).

This year Sunil Sir wouldn't be in Bangalore on 15th Aug 2012, so lets get together to celebrate the "Ride with a TWIST"

TWIST: Lets get together and clean the reflective mounts of the median on the old airport road of Bangalore as a gesture to help the motorists.
Due to the dirt and smoke, often these reflective mounts dont reflect the light during the night.

I know this is NOT a regular thing and that we need to take the permission of the Bangalore Traffic Police; HONESTLY I am not sure of the police will allow this too.

Once we get a headcount of the people, we can approach for the permissions.

Here is what is in my mind:
                        - 6 AM to 8 AM - Clean up the median on Old Airport Road (Early start to avoid inconvenience to traffic)
                        - Head for a short ride for the breakfast

                        Any suggestions are most welcome

                        Ajay

Good idea! I was thinking of doing this for the roads in North B'lore (to start off, since I frequent these). Good to see you have associated a good date with this!
                          I'm up for it.

Getting permission from the police for Old airport Road MIGHT be an issue if any dignitaries are flying in at HAL Airport on the occasion of Indpendence Day.

                          My views on the YZF-R15 V2.0: http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/news/198...tml#post699240

The pleasure is when your rear wheel slides, and you bring it back; and when the front wheel lifts, you take your time bringing it back.
