How about in front of the petrol pump between the different travel agencies? It is just after the madiwala underpass and on your left as you go from Silk Board junction to Forum Mall / Adugodi / Dairy Circle?

Whatever we finalize, we should target leaving from our meeting point by 5:30 to get to Yeshwantpur comfortably by 6. Given the time, there wont be any buses in the Madiwala area either.

Your ZMA is still going strong I see. I think the last time we rode together was several years ago to DD hills when a lot of the olders xbhp members were active (all the first batch 220 owners .....).

Taking the ORR from Madiwala

Hi Neil & Krish,
I am the latest entry to this ride. I just confirmed it to Phanikar today.
Very excited about this ride, as this is going to be my first ride with Xbhp (though not my first long ride).
I will be riding solo. I stay near EMC2 (4 kms from Marathahalli on the ORR).
Since you guys are riding from Madiwala, just wanted to ask if you will be taking the Outer Ring Road (ORR)?
Because if you are, I could join you from Total Mall, near EMC2.
And incase you are not taking the ORR I could come up to Madiwala.
Do let me know.

During the monsoons, my bike also gets into hibernation mode but still follows the same routine as what you mentioned :-)

Hey ashraf_1lastbreath, I guess we should be riding through the city itself so we wouldnt be coming through ORR. My knowledge of the layout of Bangalore is pretty poor, but I think it is shortest and easiest for you if you ride directly to the starting point.

If you're referring to HAL Airport (Old Airport, not operational), it should be around 8 kms. It's just a straight road. You'll find lots of buses. You can take any bus that goes to Whitefield. Link - Old Airport Rd to Waterville Hotel - Google Maps

From the Bangalore International Airport (new airport, all international and domestic), it'll be around 50kms. You can either hire a taxi or you'll find Volvo buses to this place.
