I would have loved to join, but may not have my bike. My bike is up for sale 2006 Yamaha Gladiator - Bangalore as I need to create some parking space for new bike .

When is the scheduled delivery of your HD?

guys i have plans of 2 day trip from bang in march first week

my options are :

1) bang-halebedu [via hassan]-kudremukh-chikmaglur[night stay]-muliyanagiri-budiyanagiri-kemmangundi-bang

2) bang-coorg-bang

questions:

1) please suggest which route to take for coorg from bang which will be scenic i heard of nagarhole national park and some other places .also places around coorg , is coorg and madekeri diff or the same?

2) route conditions for the above routes .

3) suggest any other places if you have

Latest update is that Mysore to Madikeri is Superb .. One can do 120kms from Mysore in like hour hour and half .... Coorg is the District -Madikeri is the District HQ . You could do Irrpu falls . Its off madekeri route , but depends how many days you guys are planning + how much can you ride .... The route to this falls is scenic as its Interior coorg and the road passes through the Nagarhole National park (No animals on this side of the park though)... You guys could do Irrpu falls and then halt at Madekeri for the night. Look around Madekeri for the day and head back to bangalore

On any day I would recommend Bangalore-hassan-belur-Halebiidu-Chikmagalur-Kudremukh-Sringeri-Chikmagalur-BBhills . Its one of the scenic routes one can encounter in Karnataka. Do be aware that roads to Kemmangundi is BAD! about 25kms . Rest manageable on a Zma

Very close. Last week they were waiting for some customs clearance. After that they need to transport to BLR, which would take another week.

+1 to that. Even ninja owners feel the need to retain their old bikes, so for an HD it would be an absolute necessity.

Its basically parking issue. I have a cage occupying most of my parking space. My wife wanted a 2 wheeler and I got a Scooty Streak, which we are parking in my neighbor's house
