@Pabi- Small correction and point I would like to bring to your notice here. You dont have to go to Masinagudi to go to GUDULUR that way u wont have FUN! You get to Masinagudi (interior madumalai) on your way to the 36 Hair pin curve section which will lead you directly to a junction viz adjacent to the lake (Pretty famous film shooting spot from the 90s )lake u see very close to Ooty on the map

While going to Wayanad, take the other road at the junction which is said to be the Highway and continue till Gudulur. And once their ask for directions to Sultanbatheri as Wayanad is a District and not a place

Any time buddy Nice to hear that you had a great time.As far as I know there are no cheetahs in South India and definitely not in Madhumalai. Are you sure it was a cheetah or a leopard(you have plenty of these here).I know how scary it is if you see a big cat by the side of the road.

That's a leopard buddy cheetahs are slender creatures compared to leopards.

, glad we could provide with some useful info to you .... Cheetah /Leopard (it is a leopard I guess since cheetah is not found in sub-continent) experience is something which seems the highlight of the trip

Pics buddy, The ride is incomplete without great pics as it reminds one of his journey while making others plan theirs to the same place

Looked the same as Joel's exhaust.

Also, both bikes had IND plates.

I had taken a sabbatical and am looking to make a comeback
Looks like you haven't taken a sabbatical nor changed a bit !

P.S: Need to catch up on some heavy-duty riding to do justice to the 110/90 SD that the Zma is now wearing

                              • Sorry to barge in uninvited, but I needed some info about a Delhi-Bangalore ride. Has anyone here done this? I need info about road conditions, places that I can stay for the night etc etc.
A good long ride can clear your mind, restore your faith, and use up a lot of fuel.
