Does anybody have an idea where I can get the Royal Enfield mechandise and memorabilia like scale models and stuff in Bangalore? I know RE started with stuff like that, but dont know which showroom or shop is best place to visit

Getting permission from the police for Old airport Road MIGHT be an issue if any dignitaries are flying in at HAL Airport on the occasion of Indpendence Day.

You are correct Nikhil, spoke to the Circle Inspector - Traffic in Domlur and they said that it WOULDN'T be possible provide permissions due to Independence Day Celebrations.

But were happy to allow us to take it up on any other day apart from Republic and Independence Day

The Independence Day aka ID ride has been a regular even since the Bangalore chapter of xBhp started under the guidance of Sunil Sir (hisunil).

This year Sunil Sir wouldn't be in Bangalore on 15th Aug 2012, so lets get together to celebrate the "Ride with a TWIST"

TWIST: Lets get together and clean the reflective mounts of the median on the old airport road of Bangalore as a gesture to help the motorists.
Due to the dirt and smoke, often these reflective mounts dont reflect the light during the night.

I know this is NOT a regular thing and that we need to take the permission of the Bangalore Traffic Police; HONESTLY I am not sure of the police will allow this too.

Once we get a headcount of the people, we can approach for the permissions.

Here is what is in my mind:
- 6 AM to 8 AM - Clean up the median on Old Airport Road (Early start to avoid inconvenience to traffic)
- Head for a short ride for the breakfast

Any suggestions are most welcome

guys im planning a short one-day trip this weekend from mysore.

this is the itinerary....

mysore > kushal nagar > madikeri > somwarpet (honnamana kere) > bidalli (mallalli falls)...

Need suggestions on :
1) road conditions
2) must see places in the same route (might go to golden temple on my way back)

I am Planning to visit Kudremukh, considering I have 6 days I could cover more..

I am going to be in Kudremukh on 18th. But unfortunately this time it is not on the bike!

We just might bump into at kudremukh if you are going to be there the same day! What are your plans?

Hello Everyone...I am new to this Thread...So kindly help me out with the procedure to join in for rides whenever they happen in Bangalore..
I would love to ride along on weekends..just waiting for my new Pulsar NS to be delivered to me within few days and than i am ready to go..
Please let me know whever you guys plan up a Ride anywhere near to bangalore...
Just want to know whether i will have to check for the posts here in the Forum or we will be getting some invites for the event whenever it happens..I am all new to this so please bear with me if i sound a lil out of picture here..

When riding from Pune to Chennai on 20-Aug (Yesterday), I witnessed a Bulleteer (Greenish Blue) (riding responsibly) in the direction towards Chennai around 4:15ish

I was speeding on my Red CBR with black tail bag; wondering if he was a xBhpian

Edit - Also witnessed a R15 (guess it was RED) biker riding with tailbag towards Bangalore somewhere closer to Vaniyambadi yesterday; wondering if he were an xBhpian
