Need info about shops selling riding gears in bangalore

Hi All,

My apologies for posting in a G2G offline thread but i have already posted thsi query in Riding Gear UT and could not get bangalroe specific replies.
As i am going on a trip to bng-mys-mulyangiri-bng on thursday i need to procure the gear before that. PLease advise about the places where i can get A* bionic knee guards (DSG dont have stock and they will be getting in next 12-15 days).
Waht about availability if riding pants? I spoke to Orion and they dont have anything in my size .
Please help.

Riding pants would serve you better than just knee guards as they pants have padding on the hip area so protection would be better.

You can order pants from Bachoo motors or planetdsg or performance racing store. They ship in 24-48hrs. Refer to the sizing chart/guides on their resp. sites.

Was just wondering , do we have an official hangout spot / meeting points ( not rides ) where bangalore xbhpian's meet . G2G sort of.

I'm wondering how the name kadambam came to be ..?? Can some of you help
Also , can we have a G2g where we have all members joining in to to know one another and stregthen the brotherhood. ??
I can see individual / group rides here , but nothing on the lines of the whole bangalore chapter together , and I read accounts of members ripping when on rides, I thought xbhp stands for safety and Respect for rules.

Why dont we have a meetup ?? sunday early morning 6 am types ??

P.S :- I dont mean to compare , but back when I was with delhi xbhp , they have these meetups , where they plan rides and also have short formation rides and they are fun !! [ Just a thought, dont mean to be critical or rude to anyone ]

We used to have a hangout spot @ Jayanagar Barista till about 2 years back. People just lost interest I guess so we don't have any more such meets. Sigh! Those days were good

Kadambam because when Bangalore xBhp first started they used to meet near the Kadambam restaurant which is no longer at the place where the folks used to meet. This was before my time, so I cannot shed much light on it. But the folks of those days are/were some stalwarts of biking, wouldn't want to take names but some really amazing bikers were born in that era.

From what I know/hear, Bangalore rides are pretty much safe and with proper formation being kept in place. I dont know about the recent rides as I usually don't do the CCD rides which are the rage of these days ... But the Bangalore junta is pretty safe one to ride with

Welcome to Bangalore, the biking culture is a lil different here. But one of the best seasons to tour around Bangalore are just starting out. See ya on some ride

Deliberately creating a new post.

I'm planning a longish ride (not long enough to fit into the dictionary of seasoned riders like Bluevolt, Praful, etc ) with an overnight stay.

Plan to leave on the morning of 28th Oct and return the next evening (29th Oct). Ooty/Kodaikanal etc. are the options as of now.

If anyone wants to join, please confirm.
