Bangalore - Goa

Hi guys,


I'm planning a trip from Bangalore to Goa in Mid December. I would like to know the best routes that I can take. I would like to avoid the Ghat section as much as possible.
I need to head to South Goa. I have done a few long trips (The longest been 446 KM+). I plan to leave at 04.30 hours and plan to reach before the sun down (18.00 hours).
Any details about these roads would be much appreciated. I will be navigating via print road maps only hence the route needs to be simple.

I figured out 3 major routes.

Option 1: Bangalore to Chitradurga

Chitradurga to Dharwad

Dharwad to Goa

Option 2:

Bangalore to Chitradurga

Chitradurga to Bankapur

Bankapur to Karwar

Karwar to Goa

Option 3: Bangalore to Chitradurga Chitradurga to Hubli Hubli to Yellapur Yellapur to Karwar Karwar to Goa

Please help!

Hello folks,

I think we are going with the option1 black_blue tshirt design after considering the majority votes. I had a discussion with Suvrajit Ganguly and Saquib Ahmad regarding whether other xBhp Bangalore members can buy the tshirt or not.

Right now the main motive of designing the tshirt was to have a tshirt for xBhp Bangalore Kudremukh ride. So the people who are coming for the ride will be getting the tshirt. We are not going to print extra tshirts for everyone.

We will send the design for printing by tomorrow morning.

(Due to some miscommunication I posted the wrong info earlier that everyone can buy the tshirt but now the correction has been done.)

I would like to inform you that our accomodation in Kudremukh is now confirmed! The guest house manager would also arrange campfire for all of us on the night of 13th at a charge of 250/-
