Need route suggestions for Bangalore-Dandeli bike trip

Hi All,

Me and my friend are going for a bike trip to Dandeli on 27th June from Bangalore. We have thought of going through NH4 and taking left at Ramankop just before Hubli (route is as given in the screenshot below).






Can anyone tell the road conditions for the route Ramankop -> Kalghatagi -> Haliyal -> Dandeli ?
Also, please suggest if you know a better route or if anything to take care of after leaving NH4.

The more scenic and recommended route would be via bankapur- mundgod- yellapur- haliyal -dandeli.

The faster route would be the dharwad- haliyal - dandeli route.
