Folks,

Discussions have started yet again for the next G2G ride (xBhp Bangalore 20th G2G ride) and this time we are confident that it would succeed. Once the details and the plan gets finalized, it would be shared in the forum (which is withing couple of days). In the meantime, do note that like every week, we have our weekly meets this Saturday as well (starting from 6:30-7:00 pm) where we would be discussing the upcoming G2G plan as well. The location of the weekly meet has not been decided yet, however the same would be shared on Saturday morning. Folks willing to join can plan accordingly.

NOTE : Since there would be a parking problem at Food truck fiesta, the GTA location has been changed to corner stone park, indranagar opp KFC.

So here it is:

xBhp Bangalore 20th G2G Ride

With the temperature rising gradually, it is quite evident that we are stepping into another hot and dry Summer season in Bengaluru. But that does not stop us from exploring places, and I believe the fun has just began! So, this time we planned something different, celebrating our 20th G2G ride and the dates would be 8-9-10th April, 2016. xBhp Bangalore chapter will be riding this time to Ooty-Coonoor and this is going to be a 3 days fun-filled G2G! Lets see some of the highlights of this G2G:
1. Bonfire.
2. Niligiri toy train ride from Coonoor to Ooty.
3. Non stop fun sessions (may it be bakar or information-filled).
4. Ride to some of the beautiful view points around Ooty/Coonoor.

The full itinerary would be shared with the group at a later point of time once it is finalized, but lets talk about some of the essential information first. The accommodation has been finalized to be Garden View Resort and Rustling River Homestay (you can browse through these two properties in Budget Stay Ooty - coonoor homestay, coonoor resorts, Budget hotels, Budget resorts, budget homestay in coonoor) which is located 24 Kms from Coonoor, in the middle of tea gardens. Kindly note that this property has a member limit of 25 members only (hence we would need to close the registration once the head count matches 25). Per head cost for 2 Nights 3 Days is 3000/- which includes the following:
1. Bonfire.
2. Lunch (Veg/Nonveg).
3. Dinner (Veg/NonVeg).
4. Tea/Coffee + Snacks.

To confirm the above mentioned accommodation, we would require to transfer 20,000/- to the resort manager by coming Wednesday and hence I request the interested members to kindly start transferring 3000/- to the below mentioned account number. A word of utmost caution/importance: Please be on time.Also please Fill up the tank a day before, before going to sleep.
Those who have ridden with us earlier are strictly instructed to be in compete riding gears, else you will be asked to continue your own ride. People joining for the first time and are not having proper riding gear they are advised to have proper helmet, a thick jacket, proper denim jeans, shoes.
No rash riding will be tolerated and everyone has to follow the group riding etiquette.

In the meantime, as mentioned in my previous post, we are in the process of collecting amount from the members (20,000/-) which is the booking amount required for the accommodation and this has to be transferred to the resort guy today itself. Hence requesting all the interested members to kindly make the payment (per head 3000/-) before 1pm today so that I can go ahead with the NEFT.
