Thumbs up Hey

I went to royal enfield company showroom and asked about the classic 500 and the response was that I'd have to wait 8-10 months after booking so I went and bought a p220. How long do you have to wait for your 500?

I was given a time frame of 6 to 8 months. Too long to wait for a motorcycle I agree. But I hear there is a possibility of getting it slightly earlier. RE has increased production of the Classics and the cost of the other models. They're trying to equalize the waiting period for all of their models. Or thats what I was told.

Hi Guys,
My Classic 500 is for sale. I might be going abroad for an year and I dont want my love to rust in the garage. So I'm willing to give it to some passionate biker.
Price:
The onroad price is 1.54L + 3K (bend silencer). I ve put iridium plugs and free flow airfilter(imported, did this to reduce the pop on deceleration). It cost 4K so total 1.61K.
As its an urgent sale I can reduce upto 20K for the 9 month old bike. Prospective bikers please contact - 98866 93946.

Thanks,
Prabhu

I've booked my Classic 500 on Sept. 1 in a RE flagship store here in B'lore. The waiting period is 6-8 months, I knew this beforehand, so I was prepared. Hope to get the bike at the earliest, maybe around late Feb or early March. This is going to be my first bike and hope I am prepared for it.

Thanks, all credit goes to my father for getting me one. Now the only thing to be done is "waiting".

RE bangalore is replacing all the plugs in the bikes that have 'missing issue' with the new ones. So get it changed, if required

The new ones differ in heat range of the points. Old ones use to come with 7WD and the new ones are 8WD. All the Bikes post May-June come with 8WD. This hopefully reduces the carbon deposits on the plugs, cold start and hopefully miss fire.

But not sure if there is another call back replacement after this one.

My Bike is having a major rusting issue. Pain job is not proper and it has already started rusting from here n there.
