Thanks man, cruising speed as anything below 120. The best is 80 to 120.

If you are slim, then the classic could be better than the T'brd, in my opinion. If possible you can go for 500. You would get the extra horses.

Well, its good as of now.. I just did 3K kms.. usually the bullets get better after 10K kms becoz by 10K it would ve shown its flaws and the rider would ve fixed it

          Issues:
          1) the wiring beneath the rear fender rubbed against the Tire. So had to face a blown out fuse twice before I figured the issue.
          2) The cornering clearance on the right is low. Lost the heat shield screw becoz of this, in-spite of regular tightening.
Gr8 going Prabhu !! My bike has done close to 2k now [Out of town for an office assignment, so babe will rest for a month ]

I am facing issue with the fuel sensor light coming on even on tankful !!

RE service is checking on it, it may be replaced !! Where do u get ur bike serviced ??

          Cheers.

                  hey ranjanr,

as virtualhemant said. electra will be there around march. but not with the old CI engine. New electra will have twinspark engine. i guess just like thunderbird. (not confirmed yet, but sure they are going to change the engine as Service center guys told me).
And electra is higher. when i was booking my electra i asked mech, which one is lower thunderbird or electra(because i am 5.7 ) he told me electra is higher then thunderbird.

                  so best of luck

hey i saw classic got much longer silencer. tell us something about the sound. dose it sounds like 350 std or diffrent.

                        thanks mani.
Long silencer is normal for 500cc. The sound will be little silky compared to Std 350. Little less thump

Guys, never think Bullet owner should always be a hefty person. Per my knowledge, most of the Bullets are owned by either Medium build or slim guys. I was 5.10 and 56 Kgs when i bought my first Bullet 350. I was 5.10 and 58 when i bought my first Bullet 500cc. NEVER think of your physic. And do not think what others might think about you on Bullet. Once you own it, you will feel that Bullet is a part of our life and not just any other bike. Request you all not to bother about your height, weight and personality.

Royal Enfield promoted the bent silencer for 'off road' use only. Even in the states it is not road legal. This is also the reason they do not exchange the long silencer for the bent one, since you are expected to use the long silencer for normal use.

It is sad, however, that the RTO is actually following the rules on this one.

                              Horns

                              Guys,
Can you please help me choose horns for my Bullet Classic 500?
I read somewhere that it doesn't support powerful horns because the ECU manage current to every electrical device. I had talk with the RE person and he also confirmed the same but he also said that one can fit dual tone horns, that should not exceed 12V and 2.5 Amp combining both. He also asked me to check some bosch horns.

If anyone of you changed the horns already, can you please share the details? It will help everyone on this forum.

                              Thanks!!
