P220 is an awesome machine, ran faithfully for 25000 kms in 2 years.. Went thro the entire Ladakh ride, over K Top, M top without even a glitch !! So was with the case of the 2 Mach 500s accompanying me !! I felt more at ease for cruising on the highway and hill climbs with 500s cause of the shear big engine and higher torque... lesser revs at high speeds makes it easy to ride.. Power wise yes I felt its an upgrade... This thing can pull fast !! That apart i can vouch for both.. I do a lot of touring... so i changed to Classic 500 from P220.. So see what end result u need and then change.. if not P220 is a good machine... |
