is anybody having the problem of rusting upon the silencer tip ...

my silencer(black in colour) is totally rusted and I fear that all the matter inside it will come out sporadically and nothing on the name of a silencer will remain...

guys I don't know what to do...
do you have any solution except going for a new silencer...

Same issue with my bro's 180 v2... black silencer... rusting starts on the tip... later percolates to other parts.... sadly no other option than to replace it.... costs approx 4k

totally man!... even i coudnt beleive it, i actually did a mileage test, where i had a litre of petrol in the tank, and was carrying another 1.5 L.. was doing constant 70-75 n the highway plus traffic......the only logic to this can be that, coz the k&N is sucking more air,the amount of fuel sucked in is lesser, and the low-range torque has considerably, significantly dropped, you need to keep the bike above 4k rpm for feeling the punchy 180 engine..as i had already mentioned somwhere, i had gone to shirdi and back, got 40-42 Km/L after cruising above 80Km/Hr continusoly for like 500kms..decent huh!...

still havent tested the top-end as my sparks were like 13k kms old!, just changed them yesterday, will put in a new dose of 300v...let us see...before the bike used to easily keep pulling till 123-124...for that i needed to heat the engine properly, in the first blast itself the bike had not touched that figure for quiet sometime, probably coz of the sparks i guess...but the 0-70 and 70-120 is now fcukin faster, you know scary fast, Like when you are kinda accustomed to the bike which does a 60-120 in ages, now the speedo ticks like that of a RTR!!! trust me the 180's engine is full of surprises..

Hi guys

I donot have much idea about bike maintainence. So needed an advice
My P180 is 11K kms old.
someone plz comment on the following :-

1) I use castrol power 1 and change it every 3K ..driving speed is generally 70-80. ....Is this the correct freq ?

2) About tyre pressue.
Front : 22
Rear (120/80 zapper tyre) : 30.
i ride mostly on highways . are these figures appropriate ?

3) The bike manual says to change the fork, brake oil every 10 K.
My bike is working fine without any issue...shall I still chage the above fluids?
