The 180 ug3 hits revv limiter at around 10.3 - 10.4k and the speed will be 128kmph in top gear.

my bike gives me between 47-53kmpl.

Wow.. 47-53kmpl man my 150cc CBZ Classic never given me more than 38kmpl

I guess this should be good considering I am looking at a bike with a mileage of 40-45kmpl

Good yaar considering it is a 180cc bike.Also which version do u have.UG4 or UG3.

my bike gives milage around 45.

ya! i drive it sanely. so i get 50+ mileage.
in some harsh driving conditions your bike should give 40+.

She hit 2000

Hi Guys,

My Bike today hit 2000 km mark, I have captured a picture of this historic moment



Its been 1 month 7 days when I brought her home, and since then I have enjoyed every moment with her.

She has behaved just like a moody Girlfriend, Most of the times rode like super smooth and sometimes vibrated like anything.

Most of the times sounded like sweetest sound in this whole world, and sometimes even sounded like mixi
But I loved it I loved it all

As today I have joined elite club of people who have rode Pulsars 180 for more than 2K kms , so its my moral responsibility to write a 2K km report, so here it goes

2000 km Report

Maximum Speed achieved : 82 kmph

Max speed in each Gear
1st : 16-17 kmph
2nd : 25 kmph
3rd : 40 kmph
4th : 55 kmph
5th : 82 kmph

Speeds in 5th Gear at different rpm
4K : 56 kmph
5k : 68 kmph
6k : ~82 kmph

Mileage
1st 500 km : 62 kmpl (never crossed 4K rpm )
500-2000 km : 50-52 kmpl (followed runin instructions 95% of times )

Petrol Used : Speed by Bharat Petroleum, since starting.

Accidents : NIL, but once she fell from side stand as ground was not stable

Embarrassment : Got smoked, at red lights by almost every 150CC bike, once even by a Honda Stunner
Achievement : Once Smoked a Karizma, He was with a pillion thats when hit 82 mark

What I have loved : Big Bike feel , Good Handling, Great power, bike really feels awesome once you hit 5k rpm.

What needs to be improved : Engine should be a bit more smooth, a bit more low end torque, more softer seats


Now Official runin is over, so I have got licence to kill
But will not misuse it, for next 200 km or so will remain within 90
Planning to hit magical figure of 100 only after 3rd service

Planning to Use Service center Engine oil for next service also, Will shift to Motul 5100 4T after 4th service

How is the pillion comfort in the Pulsar 180.

if its not bad then tooo itz not the greatest of all bikes.
my experience with all pulsars seat whether it is my pulsar 150 classic or pulsar 180 ug3 or pulsar 150 ug3 or my bike pulsar 180 ug4 has been worst of the seat comfort in market.

Don't you wear a helmet or have you just kept it aside for the photo shoot??

If its the later then fine.. but if not then bro please wear a helmet while riding..

yup! i got caught..

sorry! to say but i didnot have a helmet.
in that trip i just wore a cap and a handkerchief on head, and that only gives safety for hairs.
i am searching for a good color helmet but could not find one. and the main reason behind that is i am running on low cash from last few months so cannot afford it for 1-2 months more.
and the jacket too is a cheap 200rs winter jacket itz not a rider one.
