guys i got some problem 2day with maa bike P180ug4
i retured from maa office to home-----dist travelled 15km
then after half n hour went out.....hardly i travelled was 2kms after that...my bike stopped all of a sudden....as if there was no fuel left.....(tried 3 time to start the bike but it couldnt)
but my bike had done 50km in the odo after reserve(so i can still easily go 40 kms with reserve fuel)......i took the bike aside...then open the fuel tank to chek whether i had fuel left or not.....then i closed the fuel tank and tried starting again......it started.....n i could easily go about 15kms with out filling it....
what could be the problem......plz help

it happens sometimes, it is due to vaccum formed in the tank, it happens with me now also in my P150 classic..

I'm telling i've tested the speed on the Speedgun and still u disagree and make a statement? Who's talking about the speedo's here???Originally posted by abhichotu.abhi View Postplz guyz stop talking about the thing that never exists, all of us know that the true top speed of any DTS-i (ug3,ug4) is 115kmph(+-1)..
so no sense of talkin about topspeeds, the speedos have huge errors that keeps on building as the speed of bike increases.
117 on a ug3 is 115 true and that is what it was tested... if you dont believe come down to bangalore and i can prove you that!!!!
The UG4's come with a hell lot of speedo error, 130 on the speedo is ~120 true...
The magazines test the top speed of a bike on a plain stretch without crouching on bike (Sit right position) which affects a lot.. just go flat on the fuel tank and try for yourself, it also depends on your riding skill...
The ug3 can do a 120+ true easily and i can prove u that anyday!!!
Is there sense in what i talk or still u find my words of no sense??Fun Starts at Redline!!!

guyz here is my problem
today i tried to RIp my bike(p180 ug4) ofcourse i was riding in city, but i found that the RPM after 6K rises very slowly
, no matter which the gear i am in.. is it a problem.
also my front wheel runs slightly tighter than the rear wheel i checked it by putting the bike on main stand and rotate wheels one by one(first rear and then front)
i found that front wheel also makes a screeching noise, is it with you too guyz??

ummm... well i'm not really one to argue bout the "true" topspeed of the P180 UGUIII... but...Originally posted by abhichotu.abhiplz guyz stop talking about the thing that never exists, all of us know that the true top speed of any DTS-i (ug3,ug4) is 115kmph(+-1)..

i don't quite agree with that... now i have no problem saying that the top-speed on my bike that i've got so far is 105kmph... but it's not.
i've done a speedo indicated 134kmph on my December 2006 Pulsar 180 UGIII.
i was shocked... but dat's wat da speedo showed.
n i'm pretty sure that i was going quicker or close to a true 130kmph or so... coz it felt a decent amount faster than 115kmph.
My bike is stock!
it took a good 2 kms... a serious amount of crouching n tucking in... and Pirelli MATCH08 at the rear..
