Hi,
I don't know is it right/want to create a new post for such query,so I decided to ask here as this question to all P180 UG4 owner.
As my one of cousin totally mad on this bike...& he intended to buy only this one,
1.Anyone completed 15/25k in this bike ?
2. In this time what is the minimum niggles/hassle have to face ?
3.what is the minimum part have to replace in the engine (except regular servicing) ?
4.As he is clg student & his tight schedule he have a limited chance to visit SVC....If there is a major engine problem it will be hard for him to deal with it.
5.How good is Tubeless Stock Tyre ?
6.Currently he driving a P180 non-digital version of his friends...& he feel good with it....Is the same kind of comfort UG4 gave him ?
7.Due to split sit, If he not feel comfortable is there any way to change with P150 UG4's seat ?
Now you all going to say TD first, but it will not help as TD will be short time & he will not give us any other option to choose. So I am looking here how to make this work for him. As he is 5.9" or something.
Eagerly looking for your input...Thanks in advance.

mine ride is a 2500kms old p180UG4, PROBABLY NONE OF THE ug4 BIKES sold in INDIA would have 25000kms on Odo, as the bike is only 4months old launcher.Originally posted by Neel08 View PostHi,

2= yes its a bajaj bike,so be ready for small niggles ,but nothing to worry about...
3= minimum part??
untill you maintain it to optimum level there is no extra load on the pocket-money(except regular servicing).
4= do a proper run-in and it will serve you for decades

.
5= tubeless tyres are good enough to keep rider and bike on the road, but donot expect racing performance from it..
6= comfort is better than any previous versions(except classic).
7= split sit are comfortable untill you get an aftermarket seatcover, anyways it can be changed to a P150ug4 seat.
moreover if you give better feedback to your machine it will rule out best from itself..

500km Report
Hi guys, just completed 500 kms
Following all the instructions for proper runin
Have not crosses 63 till now
Max RPM 4.5K in 5th gear
Getting Mileage around 55-60 Have not measured that precisely
Engine is running a bit loud from the past 50kms, also gear shift have become a bit hard.
Just loving the experice of P180
Overall experience - 7/0
Tomorrow morning will go for 1st service
Will stick to mineral oil as of now, Tried to get Motul 3000 4T 20W50, but was unable to get
, so lets see which oil SVC guys give.
any suggestions ???
After service will go on a 350Km long trip to Moradabad
Will post after service condition/ trip experiences and if possible some pics too
Any Last minute tips for 1st service/trip

@Deep

I bought Bike 2 weeks back. Showroom filled it with half letre petrol
In evening went to petrol pump Filled it with 500 woth of Speed
In delhi speed is approx 47 so total amount of petrol : 500/47= 10.6 l
In which 3.2 is reserve so total amount available in open condition =
10.6-3.2 = 7.4leters + some leftover of showroom
opened reserve at around 440
So mileage comes out to be around 440/7.4 = 59(approx)
I dont know but coz i am really driving like grand Pa
In manual its written that out of 3.2 leters only 2 leters are usable can some one explain why
Still any last minutes tips for my first service/trip to MoradabadNo Matter Whether Guys buy 220cc Pulsars or 350cc Royal Enfields,

please donot follow reserve to reserve method, it has errors...
fill in your bike full, next time after300-400kms fill it again full, now the amount of fuel that makes the bike full on petrol is the actual mileage you are getting...
just tell the SVC guyz the problems you are getting, most important tell them to clean oil strainer...
1litre remains in tank, you canot use it normally. as it is the deepest point of your tank assume your water tank in the house you cannot use whole water out of that there is some water left in water tank which we cannot use when it is fully empty.Originally posted by thechamp View Post@Deep

yes that's true , indian engines are not made to run on this premium fuels, in foreign people use them as the bike company recommeneds it as the engines are made for premium fuels only..Originally posted by kingwilly View Posti had read somewhere that we must use normal petrol not speed, is it true?
use normal petrol from a good known petrol pump, that's it.
although the petrol companies do want to sell their products and therefore they give every positive aspects of their fuel.. its not their premium fuel is bad, but its only that our bikes are not ready to take/run on it.
