hi all !
i would be replacing my disco early2010, have started doin research already about next buy
.. your help is very much needed
would like to know how large is the turning radius in the ug 4..i mean is the handle movement so restricted that its a pain to handle the bike in traffic? or is it just the u-turns that is a problem..
also, about the stance.. do you think its as sporty as the rtr180? all i want to know is how comfy the rear-set induced stance would be for crawling traffic rides or weekend tours?
lastly since ug4 has same swing arm as the 220, is it possible to fit rear discs? and if yes.. would like a estmate figure...
thanx in advance

A fine pulsar 180, fear the black, wolf-eyed.................
Looks like the devil's own eyes at night !!!
actually i never turn off the "Wolf eyes"........
had to change them thrice ....
But still, it's the pride of the devil !!!
clocked my pulsar to something around 15000km,......Ride safe!

just a suggestion.. in Pune, there is no fun without bike.. Pune is also called the city of two wheelers..
get your bike also transferred with yourself to pune in a train.. and you can refer to many threads on how to transfer the bike.. cost something like less than 1000 bucks. say from delhi to pune..
no need to worry about cops.. just have some receipts, recent pollution receipts etc from hometown.. if someone catch you, say you are on great grand tour of kashmir to kanyakumari on bike.. and here are the reciepts from home-town only some days old..
otherwise there are many thread there.. how to keep your bike safe for long duration..

you donot need to be worried about turning radius of bike it doesnot creates problem at all.you will even not feel in worst of conditions that the turning of bike is less.no, itz not as sporty as any of RTR's.and the seating stance is such that u will have no pain in back, though in beginning u may experience some wrist pain for first few weeks.Originally posted by gotlo View Posti would be replacing my disco early2010, have started doin research already about next buy

rear sets are very annoying specially for ladies.
yes rear discs can be fitted. it needs changing of whole swingarm,.for more details refer to DUALDISC pulsar 200.
but my advice for u is if u want rear discs badly than go for either RTR180 or P220(best VFM and i prefer it more over my UG4
)

draining petrol is because as the bike will be untouched for longer period of time it may create a sludge type thing(that's what i called it) in your petrol tank and carburetter, that may cause fuel clog in pipes.
sot itz good if u drain the petrol tank.
moreover it will be good if u drain all engine oil too, because it may contaminate.
and the thought just stuck in mt mind is that
"What about servicing of u r bike?"
if u donot service it will void your bike's warranty, which is not good especially for a just little old baby.(bike
).
thnkss, i posted what i experienced by owning my beast for almost 6months now and 4100kmsOriginally posted by gotlo View Postthanx a lot bro
