_the neutral light was either not lightin up or flickering 70% of the times i tried shifting since morning.. got it fixed from the service station, there was some water in the part of the gearshift rod that is in contact with electricals(probably neutral switch wire) :O :O wonder how water got in there ???

also my left handle bar feels slightly lower than the right,

plus i think there is some problem with the cone set, when in motion, the handle doesnt turn as smoothly to the left, as on the right (very minor problem, wouldnt notice unless you drive for quite some distance), will get all of these fixed comin weekend when i go for first service..

and guys, would it be a problem if i go for first service at 350-400 kms? coz i drive through lot of traffic everyday fro about 60kms, wear n tear inside engine would be alot in these first 350-400kms..so wanted to change oil/service early

if you mean clutch lever is lower than front break leaver than just rotate left handle bar anticlockwise (apply huge force to do that)...I mean those bars can be rotated separately to make them more comfortable for rider

not levers dude the angle of inclination of clip-ons is more acute on the left than right.

just a little question what did you use to ride before pulsar?
do a test: on empty road drive at 50 and take your hands off the handle and notice if there is something missing in handle
i used to ride a disco and yes i had done the test ur talkin about yestrday, handle pulls sideways (not on any particular side though, which is wierd coz as far as my experience goes, a glitch in the cone makes one side sway, not both. may be im wrong)


I think they wouldn't accept your bike for servicing too early...chill everyone here drives same distance everyday
i would overshoot 750kms by next weekend..which s why im in a hurry. actually i just wanna do away with the runnin in/ first oil change as early as possible

i have a 2006 pulsar 180 dtsi which has done 10400 kms and today before i started my bike i noticed some thread like stuff coming out of the exhaust...

on further inspection i also noticed a hole on the lower side of the exhaust close to the tip.the thread like stuff comes out a little from there as well.

what should i do about this ?

Get your silencer replaced. And dont touch that , its GLASSWOOL, you will have worst nightmare, scratching like monkey.

Is there AutoChoke in our bikes UG4's, as in P220 DTS-i. If yes then How it works??
I have to pull the choke lever every time i had to cold start my bike on a very cold morning and then shut off again the choke.
