Man r u really satisfied with ur bike. I guess u get a lot of problems with your bike.
I am totally satisfied with my bike, Although it has already faced alot of problems. But, tell me what can one do for that??. Either i can curse Bajaj for making a bike having problems or i could happily take it to SC, get rectified the problem and live happily with it. I donot know what?? are the things causing this problems because i ride it very sanely at speeds of 35-40kmph in city all the time, but, i can tell you one thing that i was ready to face such problems?? because i Love Bajaj, and proudly say "Hamara Bajaj"
I am as happier as you guys are with your bikes.

Be ready, to face heating issue till 2000kms because in run-in period bike tends to heat-up very quickly, especially in stop and go city traffic.
BTW, your bike may also be running on Lean mixture, get the bike to SC and tell them to adjust the Carb. or CO level

        • @Born Free - The culprit must exactly be engine oil if you had taken it from SC. It was the same case with me.My bike heated up quickly, gears slipped and just got rough. Go change the oil to motul 5100t and add some oil to the chain and adjust chain slack. Everything would be fine.

btw, does ug4 bikes comes with a special kind of alloy? because i've noticed in many new bikes, the dust doesn't seem to get accumulated on the alloys, this is not the case with my bike,i wipe the alloy today, the dust accumulates tomorrow,i neither do off-roading nor my place is so dusty .

No!!!, same is not the actual scenerio as you think. There are no special alloys, even my alloy's turn into a film of black-brownish dust just after 1 day from a full bike wash.
BTW, has anyone seen dust accumulated on engine bay, with a oily feel.

that can happen may be because of excessive chain oil

NO props whatever.Simply enjoying riding the bike. Once touched 100kmph though got to immediately decelerate. I am completely satisfied with its performance. 9/10 for this bike after 1800 kms on odo.

                    • Today i got a nasty experience:
I went to the college by my bike, when i came back at home, i noticed that there were written 'Names' of some guys on the Petrol tank, though they are not visible but i could still find them. Some great fellow of my college scratched-out his name on my bike. Now, What to do guys???? how to remove that.??

Exactly the same advice as i gave to one of my friend. I told him to remove the 'Plastic cover' on the visor of his newly purchased Stunner, but , he didnot took it seriously and now. That plastic has become the part of his visor.

                          .
Just go and have ur bike teflon coated, it could remove scratches to a certain extent and curse those bastards. It really annoys to park ur bike and get it scratched.

Well! Teflon Coating in my area is very tough to find, as most of the guys here use the name of teflon coating and they just apply normal wax instead of that original coating.

                              • Guys,got a problem.

today i was in a mood to totally peel off the rim tapes, and while removing it accidentally i peeled off some paint also ,it was so hard to remove that,it has become a part of the wheel.I was able to remove only half of the left side of the front tire.
a very small amount of paint has got peeled off,now hat to do,does the sc guyz repaint only for that area??

Edit: another alternative is i will put on the rim tapes of the same color on the area where i have removed it and claim warranty for the peeling, will that do?
how do you guyz remove those tapes, its better to have no rim tapes man sh*t!
