    • P180 photos (after 1800 kms on ODO)

      This is after a long time I am posting here. The bike's running ultra fine on Motul 5100t (thanks to Abhi's advice) for the past 500 kms since 2nd service. NO props whatever.Simply enjoying riding the bike. Once touched 100kmph though got to immediately decelerate. I am completely satisfied with its performance. 9/10 for this bike after 1800 kms on odo.

          Ya!!, I too, am not sure whether it is semi-synth. or fully synth..
          By going with company(Valvoline) advertisement scheme, I guess it is fully synth. and i have found it a way ahead , better than Motul 5100 4T atleast for my Bike.

          Nice pictures.
          But, the RIMS Tape(blue), I think that you should remove that and go for White RIMS. They will simply add a lot of attraction to your bike. Current ones are not bad though, They are Okay.

          • ^Areyy, white Rim tapes will make it look like a silver alloy wheel.I am going to rip that tapes from my bike.I think, pure black looks hotter than with rim tapes on the wheel.

              @Born Free -
              switched to motul 5100 - 1200kms
              second service - 1460kms and sorry for error in the previous post. Bike is on Motul for almost 600kms since.

              Warning to all Bhpians - Never trust the service centre morons for engine oil. During my second service I asked the SC guy for what e-oil they use for that matter my bike got rough and heated up pretty quickly within 400 kms of first service. The reply was - Castrol. Then I said him how come u use a 20w40 in a 20w50 rated engine as I knew that castrol doesnt have a 20w50 in its repertoire for bikes. the guy promptly replied - castrol GTX is a 20w50 oil. I just got irritated for these guys have used a car oil in my bike. It was because of this I noticed clutch slippage in 5th gear after 1st service. Sevice Centre - Khivraj Bajaj, Mount road, Chennai.

              @Abhi - just got these stickers for Rs100 a few days before. I cant afford to spend another anytime soon. Anyway I now repent for not having consulted u guys. Thanks for your info bro.

              Thanks for all your comments guys.

              Also all those who had been using Valvoline. Please mention its full name.State clearly if its a FS or SS and also its price . Provide it a rating against Motul 5100. Mention the no of kms done on that oil.And also how was it at first use and now after some kms on odo.

                I am thinking a new scheme for my bike RIM's, Colour will be the same 'Yellow'. but, will be making some changes in the design. Let's see what happens.

                Motul v/s Valvoline, I would have preffered 'Motul', if, I would have owned a bike of Hh,Yamaha,..(other than bajaj). As my bike has already leaked with Motul, so, I have decided not to use it on any of the Bajaj bikes of mine.
                Performancewise, I have covered 200kms on Valvoline and i can simply say that the oil is good. But, still i have not found the correct oil that i have been looking for.

                          • Hey guys, Just a small query:
                            "I saw today that there is alot of dust accumulated in the 'region below the carburrater or you can say engine bay', that dust has turned black. "
                            All in all, I mean that it is a kind of dust which is accumulated due to oil, i can feel that there is oil also with dust, any such experience with you.
