Hey Guys,,,plzzzz help
There was leakage in my front tyre(tubeless),i normally fill 26 psi in the front tyre...but it reduces to 8-10 psi in 2-3 days
...
..so took it to a tubeless tyre repair shop.........that guy cudnt spot the holes and suggested me to put a tube in the tubeless tyre......though i was not willing to do it but i got it done
as filling air every 3 days was annoying
i have ridden my bike for around 30 kms after fitting the tube...didt feel any difference....
will this affect the bike in nyway????
plz advice

if u've gone over/through a pothole it may have bent the mag a bit.
using a tube in a tubeless tyre won't really make a difference.Originally posted by deepthekool View Posti have ridden my bike for around 30 kms after fitting the tube...didt feel any difference....

plz advice
no harm done..

half dozen trips to SC and petrol lock was replaced 4 times.Originally posted by JASMINE RIDER View Postthen how u solved it?
I'll suggest if you free time then read all of the pages of this thread from the start.
Originally bikes were supposed to be serviced at every 2500 km officially. But bajaj has less number of authorized service center, lesser than HH and TVS. So as the waiting period increased for servicing, Bajaj officially doubled the service interval without making any change in engine.Originally posted by JASMINE RIDER View Postthe 2nd servic in my manual says that it is in between 4500-5000kms ,but the service guys told me to it in 2000kms....is it right?...
when I bought the bike, the waiting period for servicing was ~6 hours. Now within a period of year at the same A.S.S. it's 2 days.
So finally is it better to service at 2500 instead of 5000? definitely !! increases the life of the bike.
The very best time for second service is when you clock 2000 km on odometer b'cos that's when you finish your bike's running-in.
Whenever you go for servicing tell them explicitly that AFR screw should not be touched in any condition and not to use their oil. For second servicing I'd suggest you to use motul 5100 15W50 semi-synthetic. For next service and forth opt for motul 300 15W50 full-synthetic.
Go back few pages.Originally posted by JASMINE RIDER View Postis there anybody modified saree guard with foot rest?......what we can do this?......please.....anybody can answer?
Saree guard will definitely spoil bike's looks.
BTW why do you need it? my mom says default is fine for her.Last edited by lockhrt999; 01-31-2011, 11:01 PM.

@lockhrt: You meant Motul 5100, right? Cause I think the 3100 is mineral.
BTW, the other day my bike tumbled over to the right side (stupid incident, lost balance standing still). What I noticed was my fuel spilled from the tank from the completely locked fuel filler cap. Any inputs?
And update on my bike: 6000kms done. Lots of top speed runs and stuff in the last 1500kms which seems to have put my timing chain and tappets into a mess. The bike's vibrating much more and has become noisier. BASS saw it and said those things need to be adjusted for which the engine needs to be cold and that they need an entire day for the job. But the problem isnt something i should worry about right now. So I guess i'll wait till my next service.
Motul 300V curiously reduced after 1000 kms by 70ml or so. Topped it up. No reductions since then. (couldnt spot an oil leak either).
