oh... mannn.....the bike is already given for 2nd service this morning according to u r suggetion ...i think change may b done now.I urge you to use Motul 5100 only at second servicing.
this time i will make sure about the engine oil they used...Originally posted by lockhrt999 View PostNeither Castrol nor bajaj(HP) 10000 oil are as good as motul. It costs double but man the smoothness it gives make it priceless.]
and is it true that bajaj 10000 oil is good as motul? so what does bajaj 10000 oil costs? also motul?also i heard that mineral oil is good for new engines?
ok. i think its the true method for currect checking". i will try this...and willl do replay soon...about average you are getting I'm damn sure you're method of checking it is wrong.
Proper method: when your tank gets empty fill some(5l +) amount of petrol then reset trip meter ride till tank gets empty again.
Now you know what calculations are to be done simple.
why?'''..as u know now the bike is already gone for service.Do this checking before second service.
anyway thanks mate.........sigpicmy bike is my sign

I think you didn't understand me. I think HP makes that oil for Bajaj, another reason why you shouldn't use it! My guess is that this bajaj oil is shittier than Castrol. As the castrol says it's a liquid engineering so nobody can invent oil in single night. ( Rajanikant can be an exception).Originally posted by JASMINE RIDER View Postthis time i will make sure about the engine oil they used...

according to u if it is a bad oil, then how it can maintain a 10,000kms dry period?
i think it is also a factor for their increased service interval for new 180 ug4.sigpicmy bike is my sign

in between 45- 55...not tried high speeds... because bike was in run in period...Originally posted by andy118 View PostR u sure JASMINE RIDER, that u r getting milage of 58.7 kmpl??? i'm not sure about it..i can hardly get past of 45 kmpl...r u riding at very idle range?? i.e 40 kmph??
early i got 62, 60 58 such figures...and reported it in xhp...then mates said that there should b some mistakes in the calculations,,,and they advised me to calculate using the empty to empty tank method, i was also like to check that method, because even i cant believe such figures...but now its confirmed....
really, i was very consious about my ride during running in period... because heard that when ride in 40- 45 in running in will get good mileage...obeyed that rule with much effort as u think now...i think this made my engine to get such healthy mileage...sigpicmy bike is my sign

wot mileage should 180 ug4 giv ??? my byk is 1760kms old nd it gives around 35kmpl.
bt my average speed of riding it is 45-70kmph......
nd i use castrol power 1 4t sae 15w-40 as engine oil !!!
in your post!
Well that oil is supposedly used for discovers and platinas. Pulsar requires w50 grade oil.
