i dont know which oil they were used for my bike from s.c. earlier oil was poured by them. since last service (which was at 4500kms) changed oil to motul 2000 20w50 oil
. good oil must say. but now a days mileage is 48. dont know whether this is due to oil change. anyway now 7800kms done willl go for another oil change. let us see what will happen now
petrol price is flying day by day...

Ok! Let me give my Oil vs Mileage figures:
Motul 5100 : 48-51kmpl
Valvoline: 48-51kmpl (once got 53)
Motul Mineral: 48-52kmpl (once got 54)
Petronas Mineral: 48-51kmpl
Bajaj DTSI (shitty oil!!!): same 48-50kmpl
For current status bike is delivering 40kmpl due to heavy ripping (and I mean SERIOUS ripping with gearshifiting above 9K rpm). I only get to use 3 gears in the city this way.:P
So, for me Oil made no changes in Fuel efficiency. It is absolutely GARBAGE to expect a very high hike in FE like +-5 or +-10 by changing oil.

GEAR SHIFTING ABOVE 9K RPM? STILL GETTING 48- 51? GREATE.Originally posted by abhichotu.abhi View PostOk! Let me give my Oil vs Mileage figures:

i am always riding below 60km/h with minimum breaking, so i was getting 57. but now 48.

Nope! @heavy-ripping currently the mileage figure is steady @ 39-40kmpl.Originally posted by JASMINE RIDER View PostGEAR SHIFTING ABOVE 9K RPM? STILL GETTING 48- 51? GREATE.

57 seems too optimistic, it appears a wrongly tuned carburetor, to be very precise. Under normal city conditions anything above 50-52kmpl is a HERCULES task.

look at this one..how is this?
BTW it's not local. Indonesians have access to everything.
That oil is meant for all diesel cars ( with turbo or without turbo)Originally posted by JASMINE RIDER View Posti dont know which oil they were used for my bike from s.c. earlier oil was poured by them. since last service (which was at 4500kms) changed oil to motul 2000 20w50 oil

I got 40 Kmpl when I drove the bike in extra insane sport mode on highway. Barely white lining man. (opp to red lining)Originally posted by abhichotu.abhi View PostOk! Let me give my Oil vs Mileage figures:

You can't imagine how orgasmic it is riding in fourth gear at 11.3K RPM doing 124 KPH.
Manual says pulser has rev limiter at 10.5K but it never came into play.
You're riding too slow. Riding slow also reduces average.Originally posted by JASMINE RIDER View PostGEAR SHIFTING ABOVE 9K RPM? STILL GETTING 48- 51? GREATE.

Thank you very much for the info.Originally posted by drvmtm View Postwith pleasure sir.
you can get projectors from ebay.in
HID Bi Xenon Headlight Projector Lens Kit H4 H7 etc inc | eBay
make sure the hid temp is somewhere between 4300-6000k.otherwise it will be too much blue and not usefull.
also use a hid bulb rated as 35watt not 40 or 55 because the ug4 cant pull more then 35watt.this will give you piece of mind.
to fit the thing you can google and get some videos to get the idea.just make sure you apply proper plastic sheeth covering to protect the outer glass not to have any scratches, just a note.
also please take care of your own safety while installing, and enjoy.

Hahaha... WHITE lining. It is pure music and a feel of CHARISMA to ride the bike at top of the rpm and yes I too experienced it few times that revv limiter sometimes did'nt cut-off the engine and the bike went all the way till 11K rpm. May be some fault in CDI map.Originally posted by lockhrt999 View PostL

My dear family of xbhp
My smile has come back well my dear xbhp people learnt a lot in this few days what the company tells u to stick to engine oil grade u should do it that way.
Earlier with motul 15W50 I was getting 40 average I don't rip or anything I just drive at 40 speed and after changing to moto 4 gold 20W50 I have started getting 52 average back. Well as the prices which r going up of petrol u must keep your bike and not rip her. Steady riding is my moto I just loved this experiment man I am happy.click me

it's amazing how u manage getting a mileage of 50+
i haven't really calculated the mileage on my UGIII...
but i think it's in the low 30s.
my latest is... i filled in a 1000 rupees worth and got 463 kms with it.
petrol is what? 67 bucks a litre right?
so at 67 a litre... that's 14.5 litres... so that's about 31.93 kmpl.
i am seriously going to ride at 5000 RPM ish and find out the max i can get.
i'm itching to know if i can cross the 50kmpl mark.
.
