    Hi buddy well if u want 50 + average u have to ride your bike at 42 km/hr @ 3000 rpm brother u will achieve your goal I always keep my bike at this speed only never ripped her or did anything do with hard braking.

    Check it out only with 1 ltr before reserve and u will come to know.

      carburator is untouched. it is at its factory setting..some times getting 45 in some ripping. its the lowest.

        Mine gives around 35kmpl which is hardcore redlining....i try to but cnt go below 4000rpm..its too slow for an awesome machine!!!!

            i think you wont go under 4k rpm. earlier ridden my bike at 70. still i was getting 52+. more fuel needed to achieve the speed which we like to ride. so we can ride at 70. but do constant ride.that means not constant 70. just very with 2kms. avoid harsh braking. sudden acceleration. you will get goood average.

              yes . very true. 180s sound changes with rpm increase. its like drugs to which we will became addict. early some times i like to do sudden acceleration, just from first gear, the sound addicted me for some days, what a sound it makes. just like a k&n powered bike or greater than that. i was singing with that basy music coming from my bikes back mouth. it was amazing. people was eagerly looking at me. all of you just check it out. just give a sudden acceleration, not slowely, just push down fastly, you will hear that, then in second, third, it will keep going...

                        ha ha it is same as motul company even the clutch is smooth there is no sound or vibration the bike is smooth and nice no problem yaar,

                        for the price of motul 20w50 well i paid 220 rs.only

                            I envy you. You must be having some good roads around.
                            It was never been about average. Pulsars are supposed to be ridden fast.
                            I get around 47 KMPL and I believe that's too much.

                              There is special chemistry associated with this photo. When this was first appeared n xbhp everybody praised bajaj for their design. But later when I got high res photo from the photographer and posted back here, everyone hated this bike.

                                is it a bajaj designed one?...i dont think so, according to the source of this picture, it was modified indonesian bike.
