I can feel the smoothness right from morning ride till the end of office.
One thing i have observed between champion and bosch...
Bosch has better combustioning.. i mean i get to feel the engine when cruising or ripping.
Champion use to be bit rough...may be because they were old and delivered 20000 kms of service but off late bosch are better compared to champion.
Any idea regarding iridium plugs those NGK ones...freaking costly they are! any performance difference in them?

I have three sets. one is stock champion, other bosch mico and NGK G-power platinum plugs...from what've experienced bosch and NGK are definetly better than champion...and NGK is the tops.you should try it ...you'll enjoy the throttle reponse.

    • Problem solved.

The problem was the rocker arm roller, after replaced the sound disappeared.

Has anyone experienced the same problem? My bike clocked 10K but the rocker arm roller need to be replaced.

My bike clocked 10k and there is vibrant noise coming out from the front side. I am not sure what cause the noise, the noise only comes when the bike is full tank, the sound starts coming out at 6K - 7K RPM. When the tank is half empty, the noise is disappear. I have replaced the rubber and tighten the bolts on the head, but this don't solve the problem.

      Any ideas about this? Thanks.

right at least nothing happen to u,

well as for the plugs i always stay with the stock what the company gives never experiment on any other brand on this. I have changed them after every 5000 km that means since i am doing 10,000 km i have changed them twice by now.

              • Guys Should i buy p180 UG4 now or shall i wait for the upgrade?

When do we expect the upgrade?

And will it be worth the wait?

                • Tried my luck but still could'nt get Valvoline Premium oil, searched for Motul but all of them have 20w40 Mineral Motul. Will have to buy only 5100 or 300V now and this with BLEEDING nature of my bike and piston rings developing a minor leak.

Go and buy the existing bike, the newer ones are not going tobe launched before the year end.

Shell has 20w40 oils in its motorbike range, the SHell Helix you are talking about is strictly for cars, heck I will have to try that anyway as Motul is a strict NO NO! for my bike.

Not better than 5100 4T and 300V. But, it is the best available oil for those who don't want Motul as for now in India. The performance equals to that of 5100 (a little less), but it's worth the money spent unlike other crappy oils in the market.

                            • Hey there..
Got the bike's clutch plates changed..done 28k on the odo!
Even got its oil changed to elf moto 4xt tech 10w50 fully synthetic...(i want to know its drain period)
The bike is smooth but i can feel its roughness when i hit over 5,000rpm! got it serviced too....i can say there is sudden drop in acceleration of the bike after changing the clutch plates (which i wonder why).

                              • Today i changed my oil to motul 5100,bike has become much smoother but not as much as i expected it to be.One thing i really experienced is the drop in temperature.Drastic drop in engine heat compared to Bajaj oil.

I also noticed a problem.I found about this after i had changed the oil but i dont know if it happened before or after i changed the oil.
I found oil had leaked from the right spark plug area. When i touched it it was all covered in dust, like it had happened a while ago so i m assuming it happened before i changed the oil.I dont know if it is still leaking or not.So what might the problem be and what is the solution?

PS:when i drained the oil i got about 950-975ml according to the measurement in the motul bottle.
