  • Got my new Blue P180 Today. I am so happy.

Suggest me some mods to make it look cooler.

I was thinking of rim tapes.

    What more?

C'mon man, you got to tell us some more details, we are not GODS. From where the sound is exactly coming, what type of sound and which bike?

Why would u peel off installed rim tapes??? btw they do not spoil your rim, iam having them from 2 years now. They havent come off neither destroyed any type of coating on the bike....

Have attached a copy of rim tapes on my bike!!!

i was just trying to say that "just think deeply before stick it to the rim.."
because later if try to peel off it, it will also remove the painting..
after sticking rim tapes, my father didnt liked it. then tried to peel off..then it was very risk task. the paint was peeling off along with tape...already some distance was gone by this. at last gone to sticker shop and bought some more rim tape and attached. then problem was solved revealing that its a permanently attached.

this is my bike with rim tapes...

                      • My pulsar is a blue one. I rode almost 50kms today(the 2nd day of my pulsar). The ride quality is good but i think the gear shift is not very smooth. The SVC guy says just wait till the 1st servicing. Is it okay?

                        • Getting the chain sproket change at 10000 km completed as they r cut

Well to my surprise BAJAJ has not changed a bit even after so many ups and downs well I somewhere down the line always knew that ones I complete my 10000 mark on the odo something will definitely go wrong somewhere or the other well there is nothing just that my chain sproket needs new ones along with the complete set of chain and the sprokets.
Tomorrow I am going to the svc to get the job done the cost is somewhere around 1300 rs. For the complete set hence going ahead as there r very very weiered sounds of the chain as if someone is pulling of the puley from a well that kind of a sound went to the center showed them they surved and hence was proved that yes the chain sproket has gone so needs a change there guys.
How many of u out there have got this kind of a feel or replacement done on your bikes and do mention me the km.
                          Thanks

I too face the Same issue with the chain. Mine went off in 10k kms. I haven't changed it as its rainy season. Also i need to replace the clutch plates As the bike has lost pick up. Both jobs after Rains. Feel bad about the chain quality which gave off in 10k kms...

It's okay, you will get used to it, the gears will only become smooth after some 5,000kms although after second service they will ease out; this is what was the case with my bike.

Well it depends on the kind of riding also. If someone rides JERKLY (like sudden acceleration, deacceleration) then too the chain-sprockets wears very fast then anyone of us can think. Maintenance is also the key which I think you might have done regularly. If you were not kind of jerky rider, then it must be a one-off case.

There are also many owners here who have changed the same @25K kms. My bike still has stock chain sprockets @19200kms and they can easily go 5-6K more if I have analyzed them correctly.
