K guyz ! I have clocked 10500 kms with my beast and its time for a service. I am taking my bike to CBZ tomorrow.
1.Now a days i feel somethin drastically wrong with my tires(IRC). My spine s getting hurt everyday. What could be the issue. I keep 28 in front and 32 in back(Nitrogen).
2. Bike is very unstable. If i take my hands off the handler bar, the bike is dancing. What could be the issue?
3. The gear slippage is frequent esp. between 4-5 gears. when the bike is goin @ 60-70 suddenly slippage occurs from 5 to 4. which is irritating.
4. Which engine oil should i use now? Should i ask the mechs to change oil in front of me ?
please answer my questions,.. My main issue is tht of the back pain and tire issue. please reply !

I think it has more to do with suspension rather than tires. And 10K is about right time to restore them back. Fill front with oil. And fill 106 psi air in the rare canisters. Also you can change bushes from the rear.Originally posted by karthikus View PostK guyz ! I have clocked 10500 kms with my beast and its time for a service. I am taking my bike to CBZ tomorrow.

Front rim could be out of alignment? You can also change springs from front suspension. (as xoinite says, they are cheap). Thirdly you sure cone set doesn't need any fiddling?Originally posted by karthikus View Post2. Bike is very unstable. If i take my hands off the handler bar, the bike is dancing. You didn't mention what engine oil you are using. There shouldn't be any gear slipping in UG4. Well it may happen sometimes like once in a 500 km.Originally posted by karthikus View Post3. Motul v300 15W50 or a valvoline.Originally posted by karthikus View Post4. Which engine oil should i use now?
Note: never use any oil you get in SC.
I'll say do it yourself or at your local mechanic. All you need is box spanner of size 16.Originally posted by karthikus View PostShould i ask the mechs to change oil in front of me ?
I reckon you have bad roads in your area. And if that's the case you gotta keep a good watch on suspension system. Another thing, you can sit upright like one does on karizma on pulsar (Just sit near to tank).Originally posted by karthikus View Postplease answer my questions,.. You forgot to mention the suspension setting might be set to STIFF?
Also, which BUSHES are you talking about?

Actually, there is gear slippage in UG4 too, although under normal ripping it does'nt occurs and also I only felt this when I switched to Bajaj SHIT oil. At 3rd, 4th @ 7K-10K rpm (gear changes) there is major gear slippage. This is just might be due to the lower quality oil as I did'nt experienced this with other oils.

Guys!! Had my first puncture after 12500kms.A very small nail had pierced the rear tyre.Mechanic had removed the nail, enlarged the hole a bit and tried placing a small rubber strip into it.In the process he managed to break the tip of the fork with which he was pushing the rubber into the tyre.As a result, the tip had gone into the space between the rim and the tyre.He sealed the hole and told me that the broken tip doesnt cause any problem. But i cannot believe his words.
Is it ok if i leave it like that or should anything be done??hope u guys guide me through this..A Smile is a curve that sets everything straight.

Which TIP?? I can't understand. If you are talking about the pin that prevents the unscrewing of bolts then you can fix it for no cost.Originally posted by surya teja View PostGuys!!
