Should try them after these worn out...
I also heard if the spark does not well then they can go kaput in one start itself. How true is this, if yes then investing 1000 rs is costly.

Grammatical mistake? I could'nt understand what you are saying? It hardly happens that spark plug goes kaput! even a idiot knows how to install it.

throttle response will get noticeably better.

but make sure you also change to (original) Spitfire Cables.

All iam saying that, there is a problem regarding NGK brand or Iridium, they need to work even if installed properly but at times they dont as a single spark damages the working. In short they are not reliable...
These spark plugs are not like ordinary ones.

I have heard this complaint a lot of times in PBK showrooms. Even witnessed it with my friend.

          • As everybody here in p180 section is posting how many kms they have done till now....i couldn't resist myself....so here is my figre...

27096 kms -- bike as smooth as ever..no prob at all..bike will complete 2 years on 21 st july..i want to show the people who criticise bajaj bikes for thier non reliability issue, bike's maintainence cost going up as the bike becomes old..all this is bullshit..and my bike is the greatest example of that....

if u regularly service the bike, bike will never give u any complaint what so ever..

Cant agree more on this buddy..It is one of the preferred brand dude.
My bike will be 2 years old on 26th june. Xbhp Bday Style.Clocked 27,586 kms. Tire, chain sprocket, piston block, clutch plates everything is stock and same from day one...nothing has been replaced neither repaired. Couple of things replaced are..front and rear brakes shoes, engine Oil, and spark plugs.
regular maintenance as usual... The bike delivers the same top end the way it use to before...In love with it like hell.
I still think the 180 has been more refined and stable than other pulsars. I mean 150 you get economy and no power, 200 is history (God knows why, Hate bajaj for that), 220 is fast but no economy and maintenance is bit high.
In all the 180 delivers a top end of 130 if redlined and economy of 40 to 45 if ridden well.

i'd say u need to change ur chain & sprockets, clutch plates (depending on how u ride), front fork springs,
swing-arm bush, cone-set, rear suspension (in a few 1000kms) and tyres too.

this confusion is for me too...reaching next service at 9500kms....now completed 8500kms after 6 months of purchase..during last service bought my own oil from outside and poured it at s.c.that time s.c people that " the problem by doing this is that s.c will void warranty if any problems occures.... then confused...but oil was already half filled..then no ways..poured it fully...dont know what to do next time....this motul stuff was very good...but will miss it if i go for their cheap oil which is still unknown.
                                what to do guys....
