    • BTW, completed 10K today, after 1 year and 28 days! I know, slow going but loving it!
Got 2nd paid service done with front rear axle bearing being greased up. Man the movement now feels like redemption along with Motul 5100!.

No worries, there are plenty of such things present in the tyre like small pebbles,... etc.. If you still worry then deflate the tyre and remove it with hands so easy.

          • Wow. Loads of people reaching 10K mark.
I too am 200kms away from it. I changed my oil recently (5100) since the last 5100 had run 2000kms. Neutrals are much better now but I had a big time clutch slip today when I was trying to outrun an FZ in 3rd @9000RPM. Funny thing is, though, despite me messing up the shift, i still nailed the FZ. I was surprised 'cuz the FZ has immense mid-range torque and I expected him to keep ahead of me till 70k/hr. But that didn't happen.
Mileage: Some 43k/l in mixed riding. Going to get the air-filter replaced, spark plugs replaced and the fork oil changed/topped up in a few days. No hurry but I'd like to have my bike feeling smoother again.

              • Hi guys,

My bike clocked 10k and there is vibrant noise coming out from the front side. I am not sure what cause the noise, the noise only comes when the bike is full tank, the sound starts coming out at 6K - 7K RPM. When the tank is half empty, the noise is disappear. I have replaced the rubber and tighten the bolts on the head, but this don't solve the problem.

                Any ideas about this? Thanks.

                • Got the bike serviced @19,000 kms, changed rear brake shoe, the khat-khat noise seems tobe gone for now, apart general servicing was carried out except engine oil change. Total cost 410 INR. The bike runs as smooth as ever.

Check whether the black dial around the key lock is making that noise. Simply put some pressure on it when you hear that noise and se if it goes away.

                              my bike uses Bosch..Decent stuff.
I can feel the smoothness right from morning ride till the end of office.
One thing i have observed between champion and bosch...
Bosch has better combustioning.. i mean i get to feel the engine when cruising or ripping.
Champion use to be bit rough...may be because they were old and delivered 20000 kms of service but off late bosch are better compared to champion.
Any idea regarding iridium plugs those NGK ones...freaking costly they are! any performance difference in them?

If money is not a matter of concern, then go for them blindly. Very good performance, I don't have them but have ridden a few 180's, much better.
