To be honest round head lamp will look ugly on current UG4 or UG3. It'll be like adding macho mustachue on hetrosexual body. Current pulsars aren't masculine enough.

First you can't fit analogue magnetic consoles over current digital pulse type cable. Current tank is also 15 liter, unofficially it's around 17 ltrs.Originally posted by Manan View Post

Re: Bajaj Pulsar 180 (All Versions)
I see, but since the ports for the tachometer and fuel meter is still there in the engine block, will it not be a simple task of replacing such with the analogue cables? of course I am guessing here, a talk with a mechanic is necessary for confirming such.Originally posted by lockhrt999 View PostFirst you can't fit analogue magnetic consoles over current digital pulse type cable. Still, I always wanted a first gen pulsar, but there was no need to purchase one then.

Re: Bajaj Pulsar 180 (All Versions)
I appreciate you getting the old model pulsars. I have one and it is a 2004 model with round headlamps, spokes and analog meters. It is much heavier than the current models. Still drives like a charm even after doing about 55k on the odo. Good choice mate. But ensure you get a genuine condition bikeOriginally posted by Manan View PostI see, but since the ports for the tachometer and fuel meter is still there in the engine block, will it not be a simple task of replacing such with the analogue cables? of course I am guessing here, a talk with a mechanic is necessary for confirming such.

Re: Bajaj Pulsar 180 (All Versions)
What scenario are you referring to here @jammbuster? Are you referring to a new or used bike and the fuel prices scenario? Even still, I am sure you can get decent mileage and power if properly tuned and maintained.Originally posted by jammbuster View PostIs p180 is worth buying in current scenrio....

The most important factor to make P180 or any other bike worth the buy is our riding style
and maintenance. Good luck!

Re: Bajaj Pulsar 180 (All Versions)
That is always negligible. The P180 is really good. If you commute a lot on the bike and are looking for good mileage, then P150 else P180 is a good choice.Originally posted by jammbuster View PostYes, i was talking abt wht u are thinking.... Petrol cost, cost of ownership.

Re: Bajaj Pulsar 180 (All Versions)
Dear All,
My pulsar has done 9500 kms in 16 months. all 3 paid services done. My query is should i go for the paid services in bajaj services centre or should i change the engine oil and get it done by a local mechanic. I know it will cost my warranty. But i need suggestions. Alsoafter the service i will drive all the way from New Delhi to Hyderabad. Please suggest for the service and the necessary item to be carried for the trip.
